As far as the looks of his heroines are concerned, Sanjay Leela Bhansali never compromises, instead, takes complete charge of the look of his film’s heroine. Be it  Manisha Koirala in Khamoshi — The Musical, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Madhuri Dixit Nene in Devdas or Sonam Kapoor in Saawariya, the filmmaker is known for giving some of the most unforgettable roles.He promises to continue the tradition with his next, Ram Leela and says the audience will see Deepika Padukone in never seen before avatar. Deepika as Leela will be in her most graceful but spicy on-screen appearance, he claims. SLB said, “Leela is like my mother — beautiful, graceful, but teekhi! She's delicate, but she cannot be taken lightly. She isn't a recluse. She lives life to the fullest and on her own terms. She is colour, she is what she is... I wanted Deepika to be that.” It is also informed by director that for the look of Deepika, a Gujarati girl, he wanted to keep it as natural to his vision. Minimalistic make-up by Mehera Kolah and an undone light bouffant ensured that the actress looked ethereal. He himself visited Gujarat for Deepika's outfits, which has been designed by Anju Modi. Deepika added, “Apart from the fact that he is one of the most celebrated directors, Sanjay sir has always been known for the way he presents his heroines. So, other than getting to work with him, I was excited about my look in the film. His attention to detail, combined with Anju Modi's creative brilliance, helped Leela come alive.”About her experience of working with Bhansali, Modi says, “He doesn't believe in restricting creativity and that makes it a dream for any designer.”Produced by Eros International and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Ram Leela also stars Ranveer Singh. It is releasing on November 15.

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan is nowadays considered as king of comedy, after all we must admit that his comic timing is brilliant. He has showcased his funny side in rom-coms such as Cocktail, Love Aaj Kal, Kal Ho Na Ho, Hum Tum and his upcoming film Go Goa Gone is wholly from comedy genre. Also starring Pooja Gupta, Vir Das and Kunal Khemu, Go Goa Gone will hit the theaters on May 10.

Speculations were rife of late that Kareena Kapoor Khan was set to get paired up with her Bodyguard co-star Salman Khan yet again for one of the most awaited films, to be directed by Sooraj Barjatya.With the movie, Salman is coming back with Sooraj Barjatya after the gap of 14 years, as they last worked together in Hum Saath Saath Hain. Earlier reports said that actresses from Diana Penty, Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma, Parineeti Chopra to Ileana D’Cruz were approached for the role.And latest the sources claimed Salman has recommended his co-star of films like Mr. and Mrs. Khanna, Kyunki, and Bodyguard for the movie. It was also said that she has already been signed for the same, however, the further reports from sources has that the rumours are not true at all."There is no truth in it. We have not finalised anyone yet. Lot of speculation is happening over who the heroine will be but we are yet to finalise things. In a month's time, we would decide," sources said. The makers are yet to set the title of the film, which would go on the floors in June next year. The shooting might take place in Mumbai, Gujarat and Rajasthan.

Fukrey actress Vishakha Singh believes in doing quality work; that is the reason that she has rejected back-to-back films, which came her way after the success of Fukrey, which also starred Ali Fazal, Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, Richa Chadda and Priya Anand.Also seen in films like Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey and Ankur Arora Murder Case, the actress is keen on doing roles, which offer her to prove her mettle in acting. "Post Fukrey, I have refused seven scripts. It's important to do what you completely believe in," Vishakha said. "I am game for anything - from drama, comedy, to thriller, romance and family entertainer. I want to try my hands at everything. I want to focus on good scripts where I have a pivotal role," added the actress, who will soon make her Malayalam debut with Rajesh Pillai's Motorcycle Diaries."The divide between the film industries is diminishing. I am comfortable in multiple languages. Once in a while, if good scripts like Motorcycle Diaries in Malayalam or a romantic comedy ValebRaja in Tamil comes my way, I will take them up," she said.Even though she is quite a known her in film industry, but doesn’t let that take a toll in her personal life. "I am not part of the rat race. At the end of the day, I know I did it on my own without a mentor, godfather or recommendations," Vishakha said. "I have seen the lows of the career very early on and have come to the conclusion that a Friday can change everything. Even though Salman Khan has worked with renowned filmmakers liked Karan Johar  and Sanjay Leela Bhansali in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Saawariya, respectively, but now the two of them have not worked with the actors since quite some time.And this fact came out on his television show Bigg Boss 7 when Kareena Kapoor and Imran Khan came on the show to promote their upcoming film Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, directed by Punit Malhotra.It started when Salman quizzed Kareena whether she is punctual on her film’s sets. The actress replied saying, ''Just like you, I also come late on the sets.'' This statement made Salman immediately comment, ''Because of actresses like you, a professional actor like me has a bad name in the industry. Everyone thinks I come late.'' He further added, ''That is the reason why directors like Karan Johar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali and all these people don't want to work with me. Not fair. You are spoiling my name, reputation.'' Hope KJo and SLB are paying attention to this. We wonder if they soon offer him their next directorial!

Film industry’s well-known director Krishna Shah has recently died on October 13. Veteran actress Zeenat Aman, who had worked with the filmmaker in film Shalimar, says he was a warm and hospitable man, who loved cinema and was always excited about the new projects.The 61-year-old actress about her coordinal terms with Krishna Shah said, “I met Krishna Shah for the last time about eight to nine months ago at his home in Juhu where he had a get-together for close friends. He was his usual friendly effusive self, looking after all his guests personally, making sure everyone was comfortable. Krishna Shah was a very warm and hospitable man. I had great fun shooting Shalimar with him. My god that was 35 years ago, it seems like yesterday.”She added that Shalimar was made simultaneously in Hindi and English and with international stars of the calibre of Rex Harrison and Gina Lolobrigida. “Off course, Gina later backed out, and we had Sylvia Miles instead. In fact, the film created a whole lot news and speculation even before we began shooting. I remember we were in Bangalore for the shooting in two languages English and Hindi. Dharamji (her co-star Dharmendra) and I were burning the midnight oil. When we were not shooting, he was with his English tutor brushing up his English dialogues, and I was with my Hindi tutor improving my Hindi,” Zeenat recalled.Zeenat added that Krishna was caring person who always made sure all of us were comfortable. “He loved cinema. I remember once when we met, he spent considerable time speaking of my cameo in Bhopal Express. He would always be excited about the next film that he was doing, and then the one after that... He would discuss the movies he wanted me to be in.”The film Shalimar might not have worked at the box office, but the songs by RD Burman play on to this day. They were like Aaina Wohi Rehta Hai, Hum Bewafaa Hargiz Na The and One Two Cha Cha Cha.
