Last Friday movie buffs got to see two completely different flicks on screen, one is period love saga Lootera and other is Policegiri, which sees high action, thrill and a Bollywood masala format. Both the films garnered fair response being from dissimilar style genre, and box-office analyst reports that they are working quite well at both multiplexes and single screen theatres.

Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt's wife Maanyata, who was busy for quite a time promoting her husband's first release Policegiri after he was sent to jail, is now happy with the response audience is bestowing on the film.

It was a show of extreme zeal from Prachi Desai when she continued shooting for her upcoming film Policegiri ignoring the pain of the injury she suffered a day before. While shooting for the film Prachi fell of a scooter and ended up with bruises all over.

Renowned Tamil filmmaker K S Ravikumar, who is set to make his directorial debut in Bollywood with Sanjay Dutt, Prachi Desai and Prakash Raj starrer Policegiri, is also making his acting debut with this TP Aggarwal and Rahul Aggarwal film.

Until few days back, Policegiri makers TP Aggarwal and Rahul Aggarwal were all set to premiere the film starring Sanjay Dutt in Dubai, but a request from the film's leading actor changed it all. Sanjay wrote a letter from jail, suggesting that they refrain from doing so.

Soha Ali Khan, who has played sweet innocent roles till now, is all set to do something rusty now. Yes! You got it right, the actress is going to turn a cop now and you know how are the police inspectors being demonstrated these days in the movies. Chulbul Pandey aka Salman Khan of Dabangg, Ajay Devgn of Singham and Sanjay Dutt of Policegiri, they have all entertained the audience with their stupendous cop acting.
