The most talked about musical dramas are now set to clash. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 'Ram Leela', the promo of which has already been unveiled, was set to enjoy a solo release in the coming festive season, however now Kangna Ranaut starrer ‘Rajjo’ is too releasing on the same date.With so much effort put in to make delightful film the Director of Rajjo Vishwas Patil says –“I was waiting for an apt time to bring the film. Even though the main character Kangna (or Rajjo) plays a Mujra wali in the film, it isn't somber or depressing by any means”.The release date of a film is a matter of importance and thought about at stretch. 15th November was decided as the release date for 'Rajjo', after a lot of brain storming. ‘Rajjo’ would incidentally be arriving just 12 days after the release of 'Krrish 3' (3rd November) in which Kangna would be seen kicking butt.Well few people are talking about why Kangna wants her film release on a same date of Ramleela, But the makers of Rajjo says-“ However once the final cut of the 'Rajjo' was seen by people concerned, there was an added sense of confidence. It was felt that the originally decided date would be just right to set the stage for 'Rajjo' v/s 'Leela',".We will also get a chance to see two stunning actresses Kangna & Deepika playing title roles in their respective films, with such talent and glamour a clash in the offering would be inevitable.About the film Kangna seem confident, she says "Rajjo' is really close to my heart and I am glad it is being released this festive season. As for competition with other films, there would be one every week in any case. I am sure my producers are taking a good call and it comes from the trust and confidence they have in the product. I am particularly proud of the film and my work. The film is special and it will fetch an audience of its own. I strongly believe in director Vishwas Patil and music director Uttam Singh. Once you see the promos, which would be out very soon, you would know what I mean." There is no doubt that the actress has put in a tremendous about of hard work into the film, let’s hope in works in her favour.Rajjo is produced by Four Pillar Films starring Kangana Ranaut, Paras Arora, Prakash Raj, Mahesh Manjrekar & Jaya Prada.

Hollywood director Danny Boyle, who is best known in India for his film Slumdog Millionaire which starred Indian-origin actors Dev Patel and Freida Pinto, is all set to helm a feature adaptation of the documentary Smash and Grab: The Story of the Pink Panthers.For those unaware, the original documentary came out last year, and it talked about the world`s most successful diamond thieves. What was further intriguing about the project was that it showed a clip captured on CCTV and also the interviews with several members of the gang.After watching the documentary, Boyle decided to adapt it to silver screen, and with this, his long-term producing partner Christian Colson came on board. It is learnt that the filmmaker is going the produce the film through his Cloud Eight Films banner. Meanwhile, it is going to be co-financed by Pathe and Fox Searchlight. It was said that Boyle would search for his next project once he was once with his directorial Trance, which was a heist film, and starred James McAvoy as a London art dealer who is forced to assist in the theft of a Goya painting.Way to go!

Even though Indra Kumar-directed Grand Masti worked well at the box-office, and turned out to be the first adult film to enter in 100-crore-club, the film has been written off by the critics, and has garnered a lot of disapproval.In fact, film director Zoya Akhtar has nothing good to say about the adult comedy film Grand Masti, and says she would never waste her money for such movies."Grand Masti... I wouldn't even enter to watch it. I have seen the promo and I know that it is not for me. It is appalling, it will make me very irritable and there is no way I am going to give money to this film," the 40-year-old said.The film starred Vivek Oberoi, Aftab Shivdasani and Riteish Deshmukh. And even though Zoya is not disturbed that a bad film like Grand Masti made money, but it does hurt her when good cinema fails to impress the audience. "I feel sad when good films don't make money. When bad films make money, I am like 'something had to come out of it, he has no talent so he might as well make some cash'. But a good filmmaker should make money," she said at the launch of film critic Anupama Chopra's book 100 Films To See Before You Die.We hope things would change for better in coming days!

Recently there were rumours that he would cancel an event, as he was stranded in an elevator of a Juhu hotel for 15 minutes, on his way. He was headed for the launch of his music album. Also there are constant complains of him being late on the sets, etc."The lift had around 10-11 people in it, so it got stuck. I felt a tad suffocated," said the actor, adding, "But later, I had a glass of water and proceeded to the event, contrary to assumption that I would skip the occasion altogether. Yet, so many stories of my unprofessionalism have been floating around since the past 14 years! People often complained that I never reach the shoot on time but most of the times, I wasn't given the right time! Commitments were made on my behalf without keeping me in the loop. Yeh sab mera kaam bandh karvane ke liye tha. Where there is fame, there is jealousy." Also few days back, reports made to headlines of him threatening police officers after they asked him to stop his film shoot at Marve Beach without permission. "What can I say, when you are not doing well in life, these controversies keep you alive. This incident did happen. The cops were technically right. It was Ganesh Chaturthi day, aur mera ek shot reh gaya tha. It was 12 noon and to change the location for one shot would have been time consuming so I requested them to let it finish. I told them, 'Aap itne strict kyun hai? Even when I was an MP and a leading hero, maine kabhi bhaav nahi khaya.' It was a request. But we adhered to their decision and shot somewhere else."Hope things get better soon!

Aamir Khan had to be on medication to keep nausea down for days when the actor was shooting for Dhoom 3’s song, Malang. The song has been shot at a huge height of about 80 feet and Aamir was to rotate 60 times in a minute for the same.Aamir plays the role of a gymnast in Dhoom 3 and this was required. It is the first time the actor will be doing a thing like that. However, the perfectionist that he is, the actor willingly took it up without complaints and wanted to do it just the right way. It took the team about 15 days to complete the shoot of the song and Aamir Khan was on medication for those many days. The medication was to help him keep nausea down. As he was at a huge height, taking turns, it is human to feel nauseated.Also to make sure all is well, the makers of the movie specially called a doctor, who works with gymnasts, to be on the sets to help Aamir. Dhoom 3 is a high on energy song. In terms of scale or budgets it is going to be massive. The song is around the central theme of gymnastic and will have 200 dancers in the frame.Spokesperson of Aamir Khan says, "The song was being shot at about 80 feet from the ground. To do this, Aamir was on special medication to be able to perform at ease without major effects on his health."
