My brother Vikram has always been attached to me and is my soulmate. After a while I started seeing my father in him and he became my pillar of strength. So much time has gone by and God has given you so much but you never recover from that pain. It's difficult to get over my father's betrayal as a protector that you expect as a young girl. I am his blood and who else can you look up to if not your own father?”Mallika is next to be seen in TV show The Bachelorette India-Mere Khayalo Ki Mallika, starting from Oct 7 on Life OK.

After winning million fans as the protagonist, Maanvi, in Star Plus’ hit show Ek Hazaaro Mein Meri Behena Hai, the pretty and vivacious Niaa Sharma went missing from the screen.And now, she is coming back with a new show. She will anchor the finale episode of MTV Webbed, being produced by Lost Boy Productions and Balaji Telefilms. It is based on cyber crime and the final episode will air on 15 December 2013. Actors like Veebha Anand, Vrinda Dawda and Chestha Bhagat will be seen in the finale episode.Confirming the report, Niaa said, “Yes, I have already shot for the final episode and it was super fun shooting after a while now. I got opportunity to showcase my hosting skills after a long time. I did anchor a bit during my school days. In daily soaps, you have to enact a character but here I have to be myself. I always wanted to be a part of a youth show and I am happy to host MTV Webbed.”Talking about anchoring whether she would like to do more in the same field or concentrate more on acting, Niaa said, “Yes, I would love to. But according to me, hosting business is male dominated in Indian television. The way men can mimic or crack any kind of joke, it connects with viewers. It doesn’t mean female can’t do it but daily soaps are female oriented and anchoring is male dominated.”Indeed, good news for her fans!

It has quite a few years since TV heartthrobs Mohit Sehgal and Sanaya Irani has been seeing each other. All set to be seen in Zee TV’s Qubool Hai, Mohit was asked about his take on working with his real-life girlfriend Sanaya.On this, he said, "We would love to work together again in a show. But when writers pen down characters, they keep our personalities in mind and that hasn't happened yet. We were approached for Nach Baliye last year but it didn't work out then. This year too we were approached but she was busy with Rang Rasiya and I got busy with this show. Maybe next year we'll do Nach Baliye!" Even though the duo is too much in love, still marriage is not in the cards for them. "Not yet. We are both concentrating on our careers at the moment. We want to devote a lot of time to each other when we get married and at this point it's not possible. As and when we decide to get married, of course everyone will know about it." Further, he adds, "When I came to this industry, Sanaya had already been a part of it for some time. I was not aware about the way the industry functioned and she helped me improve my acting skills. B-town actress Deepika Padukone is undoubtedly the most successful actress in the film industry at the moment, and she has successfully scored a hattrick this year, giving back-to-back hits with Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Chennai Express and most recently Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela.Even though her film Race 2 was also a blockbuster, but it didn’t have her as the solo actress, while in the other three hits films, she plays the lead actress. B-town actor Akshaye Khanna is the latest victim of fraudulent investment schemes, as buzz states that he has been duped of Rs. 50 lakh after he was insured of quick return from an investment scheme in the commodity market.All of this was confirmed by a police official on Sunday, as the complaint has been filed at the Malabar Hill police station. "Yes, a complaint was registered at our police station on Friday evening by Akshaye Khanna's lawyer. The current status is that the crime branch is investigating the case. Once we get any update, we can speak on that," senior inspector Vinay Bagade told media. For those unaware, Akshay has filed the complaint against Satyabrata Chakravarty and his wife Sona, president and director, respectively, of Intech Images Private Ltd, who are the prime accused of duping him of Rs. 50 lakh, after promising him that they would double it in 45 days after investing it in the commodity market. Akshaye is elder son of veteran actor Vinod Khanna, and his brother Rahul Khanna is also quite active in the film industry, Akshaye has been seen in films like Taal, Dil Chahta Hai, Humraaz, Hulchul and Gandhi, My Father. His last release was Gali Gali Chor Hai!
