Why Pooja Bedi sold her Juhu flat? - 0 views

  • Controversies have been stuck with Pooja Bedi’s Juhu flat, which originally belonged to her mother Protima Bedi. Earlier it was reported that Pooja had requested her father Kabir Bedi and his partner Parveen Dusanj to vacate her Juhu flat, after a conflict between the two women came to a head. Now, latest buzz has that Pooja has sold out the flat fearing an attempt to usurp the property by Parveen Dusanj. According to the sources, Pooja claims that “What if Parveen refused to leave the house? It wouldn't have been easy to ask her to her leave then. Though Kabir had reportedly married Parveen eight years ago, both Pooja and her step-brother Adam Bedi do not have any knowledge about their father's nuptials.” Report said everything was smooth between the two Parveen and Pooja until Pooja got to hear that Parveen was bad-mouthing her. Her close friend said, “Pooja had allowed Kabir and Parveen to stay in her Juhu house because she connected well with Parveen. But she put her foot down and asked her to leave because she had enough reasons to believe that Parveen was eyeing the flat. Pooja has nothing against her father but the step had to be taken.”Even it was Pooja’s friend who advised her to take immediate action to avoid a property dispute.

Where there is fame, there is jealousy, avers Govinda! - 0 views

  • A lot of controversies have been circulating around Govinda nowadays. Recently there were rumours that he would cancel an event, as he was stranded in an elevator of a Juhu hotel for 15 minutes, on his way. He was headed for the launch of his music album. Also there are constant complains of him being late on the sets, etc."The lift had around 10-11 people in it, so it got stuck. I felt a tad suffocated," said the actor, adding, "But later, I had a glass of water and proceeded to the event, contrary to assumption that I would skip the occasion altogether. Yet, so many stories of my unprofessionalism have been floating around since the past 14 years! People often complained that I never reach the shoot on time but most of the times, I wasn't given the right time! Commitments were made on my behalf without keeping me in the loop. Yeh sab mera kaam bandh karvane ke liye tha. Where there is fame, there is jealousy." Also few days back, reports made to headlines of him threatening police officers after they asked him to stop his film shoot at Marve Beach without permission. "What can I say, when you are not doing well in life, these controversies keep you alive. This incident did happen. The cops were technically right. It was Ganesh Chaturthi day, aur mera ek shot reh gaya tha. It was 12 noon and to change the location for one shot would have been time consuming so I requested them to let it finish. I told them, 'Aap itne strict kyun hai? Even when I was an MP and a leading hero, maine kabhi bhaav nahi khaya.' It was a request. But we adhered to their decision and shot somewhere else."Hope things get better soon!

The secret of Anil Kapoor's youthful looks is cycling! - 0 views

  • The man with youthful looks that are pretty enough to envy any actor of his age-group, Anil Kapoor has often hits everyone with is his youthful personality. This is also the most frequent observation about Kapoor, a successful star and actor, who always acquired, quite rightfully, the evergreen tag. If you are also wondering about the same, then here we have the answer. Anil Kapoor, 56, does cycling apart from following a strict diet. The actor is often spotted cycling around the Juhu Scheme bylanes in a track suit. At times when people recognize him, he acknowledges them politely and continues to pedal away in the quiet lanes of the plush locality.Though he is near to 60, but Kapoor hardly looks like someone dragging his feet to 60 years, has a slender frame and a flat stomach, a barely wrinkled face mostly (and smartly) shielded by a two-day stubble. His neck is usually covered by buttoned-up formal shirts and smart ties, so it doesn’t serve as a giveaway feature in assessing his age.Once Anil about his physique said, “Moderate and regular exercise (no gym heroics or body conversions from three to six packs, then back to zero), good genes, good diet and a caring spouse.”The funny man also said, hair dye, too, as he said motor-mouth TV personality and former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu when he arrived as a guest on Comedy Nights with Kapil to promote his forthcoming 24.Yes, seldom talked about are a dozen other factors that give Kapoor this winsome age-defiance.

I believe in both, meditation and moorti puja. My dadi is very religious. While I meditate every day, she does her puja,” said Kangana.Expressing what a temple means to her, Kangana said, “Any religious place has that vibe and a calming effect due to the sounds of the bells. Being a celebrity it's not the same anymore, but when I was younger, I would go to a temple and just sit in a corner. In my early years in Mumbai, I would often go to the Juhu Iskcon temple and the Mukteshwar temple diagonally opposite to it.”Kangana also believes in fasting and said she used to keep fast when she was eight. “My mother used to keep navratras when I was young. I would follow her and keep them when I was eight years old. But I would often break it by eating a biscuit and then feel disheartened, as I would come to know later that a biscuit was not allowed to be eaten while fasting. This year again, I felt like fasting during navratras but could keep it only for six days, as I had to shoot and had started feeling a little weak, so did not want to take a chance,” concluded Kangana. We appreciate your thoughts Kangana!
