Controversies have been stuck with Pooja Bedi’s Juhu flat, which originally belonged to her mother Protima Bedi. Earlier it was reported that Pooja had requested her father Kabir Bedi and his partner Parveen Dusanj to vacate her Juhu flat, after a conflict between the two women came to a head.Now, latest buzz has that Pooja has sold out the flat fearing an attempt to usurp the property by Parveen Dusanj. According to the sources, Pooja claims that “What if Parveen refused to leave the house? It wouldn't have been easy to ask her to her leave then. Though Kabir had reportedly married Parveen eight years ago, both Pooja and her step-brother Adam Bedi do not have any knowledge about their father's nuptials.” Report said everything was smooth between the two Parveen and Pooja until Pooja got to hear that Parveen was bad-mouthing her. Her close friend said, “Pooja had allowed Kabir and Parveen to stay in her Juhu house because she connected well with Parveen. But she put her foot down and asked her to leave because she had enough reasons to believe that Parveen was eyeing the flat. Pooja has nothing against her father but the step had to be taken.”Even it was Pooja’s friend who advised her to take immediate action to avoid a property dispute.

B-town actress Sonam Kapoor is all set to buy a residential property near her Juhu home. It is learnt that she considered quite a few options and finally she is said to have finalized a 2500-sq-feet house on the 10th road of Juhu Scheme. You may know at present, she resides with her parents on the 7th road.

A follower of Swami Vivekananda's philosophy and practicer of meditation every day, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut says she is a spiritual person also who believes in prays and God. She recently visited iconic Babulnath temple and seek blessings for her upcoming film Krrish 3.“Yes I am a spiritual person, where I believe in the power that runs the universe, but have a more scientific approach. I follow Swami Vivekananda's philosophy in which the highest form of worshipping God is meditation, little lower is mala and lower than that is moorti puja. I believe in both, meditation and moorti puja. My dadi is very religious. While I meditate every day, she does her puja,” said Kangana.Expressing what a temple means to her, Kangana said, “Any religious place has that vibe and a calming effect due to the sounds of the bells. Being a celebrity it's not the same anymore, but when I was younger, I would go to a temple and just sit in a corner. In my early years in Mumbai, I would often go to the Juhu Iskcon temple and the Mukteshwar temple diagonally opposite to it.”Kangana also believes in fasting and said she used to keep fast when she was eight. “My mother used to keep navratras when I was young. I would follow her and keep them when I was eight years old. But I would often break it by eating a biscuit and then feel disheartened, as I would come to know later that a biscuit was not allowed to be eaten while fasting. Telly industry’s one of the most sought after anchors, Manish Paul is set jump high from small screen to 70mm screen with his upcoming film Mickey Virus. He is busy doing promotions for the film which is slated to release on October 25. He is excited and feels proud to see his hoardings all over Mumbai. He says it's a dream come true.An elated lad said, “It's a dream come true. I have got a solo lead film, my hoardings are all over Mumbai...I used to see film hoardings around Juhu whenever I visited Mumbai as a kid. So, it's a dream come true.”Manish, who is sharing a screen space with debutant Elli Avram, further adds that all actors who come to Mumbai aims to do films. “I also had similar dreams when I came to Mumbai in 2005. But I thought I needed grooming. I didn't have a filmy background, and so I did television, radio jockeying and then I thought it's the right time to do films,” said Manish, who was last seen anchoring in Colors’ Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.Elli Avram, who hails from Greek, is currently seen in reality show Bigg Boss Saath-7. Film industry’s well-known director Krishna Shah has recently died on October 13. Veteran actress Zeenat Aman, who had worked with the filmmaker in film Shalimar, says he was a warm and hospitable man, who loved cinema and was always excited about the new projects.The 61-year-old actress about her coordinal terms with Krishna Shah said, “I met Krishna Shah for the last time about eight to nine months ago at his home in Juhu where he had a get-together for close friends. He was his usual friendly effusive self, looking after all his guests personally, making sure everyone was comfortable. Krishna Shah was a very warm and hospitable man. I had great fun shooting Shalimar with him. My god that was 35 years ago, it seems like yesterday.”She added that Shalimar was made simultaneously in Hindi and English and with international stars of the calibre of Rex Harrison and Gina Lolobrigida. “Off course, Gina later backed out, and we had Sylvia Miles instead. In fact, the film created a whole lot news and speculation even before we began shooting. I remember we were in Bangalore for the shooting in two languages English and Hindi. Dharamji (her co-star Dharmendra) and I were burning the midnight oil. When we were not shooting, he was with his English tutor brushing up his English dialogues, and I was with my Hindi tutor improving my Hindi,” Zeenat recalled.Zeenat added that Krishna was caring person who always made sure all of us were comfortable. “He loved cinema. I remember once when we met, he spent considerable time speaking of my cameo in Bhopal Express. He would always be excited about the next film that he was doing, and then the one after that... He would discuss the movies he wanted me to be in.”The film Shalimar might not have worked at the box office, but the songs by RD Burman play on to this day. They were like Aaina Wohi Rehta Hai, Hum Bewafaa Hargiz Na The and One Two Cha Cha Cha.
