This news can cause a big worry to the fans of Ramleela star Ranveer Singh, as the actor, who is hospitalized in a suburban Mumbai hospital after being diagnosed with dengue, has shown no signs of improvement, even after being admitted for more than 60 hours.Ranveer is admitted to the Hinduja Surgical Health Care in Khar. Sources claim that the actor is currently put in isolation, and the doctors had even contemplated of shifting him to Intensive Care unit, but decided otherwise. "Ranveer's platelet count is not improving and he is experiencing excruciating pain in his bones and severe bouts of shivering. His parents are keeping vigil but they too are not allowed to meet him," said the sources. Singh, 28, contracted the disease when he was shooting in the coalmines of Durgapur, West Bengal. However, despite being unwell, he ignored it and continued shooting till the shoot’s wrap. And once he returned to Mumbai, he was diagnosed with an advanced stage of dengue. "He didn't pay much attention to it but if he was diagnosed two days earlier his condition may not have worsened the way it has," added the sources. Speaking of his alleged girlfriend Deepika Padukone, it is learnt that she has not paid him any visit so far, as she is out of Mumbai. Sources said, "She is currently in Goa, busy shooting for Homi Adajania's film. But I guess she keeps herself updated about his condition."Get well soon, chap!

When 32 years back, Umrao Jaan released, starring Rekha as ravishingly beautiful, tragedy-stricken courtesan of Lucknow, the film broke all records at the box-office, and is still remembered for its uniqueness. The film was helmed by Muzaffar Ali, and written by Javed Siddiqui.The duo had planned that they would come up with a sequel to Umrao Jaan someday, and now they have united again for another film on a courtesan, however, it won’t be a sequel to the 1981 classic. In fact, buzz states that the director has abandoned the idea of the sequel altogether.Earlier, Ali had planned a sequel where Umrao returns to the 'kotha' and continues her life. He was to show Rekha as the aged Umrao. Siddiqui told the sources, "Two years back, we started working on the second instalment. And Rekha was more than glad to do the film. But now, the plan has changed. Rekha doesn't fit into my scheme of things now."It is learnt that Ali and Siddiqui were not happy with the fate met by JP Dutta's Aishwarya-Abhishek starrer Umrao Jaan, which was on the same topic. "Frankly, it is difficult to live up to the high standards of the original film. Also, most sequels or even remakes are not well received," Ali said.We’re sure it must have come as huge disappointment for Rekha and Umrao Jaan’s fans!

Here comes the good news for the fans of Hollywood actress Halle Berry as buzz states that this former supermodel is making comeback on small-screen with Steven Spielberg’s sci-fi drama series Extant. Last she was associated with television was in 1991, when she was part of American soap opera Knots Landing. CBS is going to telecast the project, which is going to be produced by Spielberg`s Amblin Television and is 13 episodes long.For those unaware, Berry would be seen in the role of an astronaut, who was returned for a year long voyage in outer space on her own. "I`m always on the lookout for amazing roles, and when you see material that contains this strong of auspices, nuance and complexity, it compels me to run toward it no matter the medium," Berry said in a statement."For five months a year I`ll get to live with and play this incredibly intelligent and vulnerable woman, and for the remainder of the year I`ll continue to look for other roles that move me as deeply as this one," she added.You can catch the series in the summer of 2014.

It will be a highly interactive experience for the viewers.” Khan is giving UAE fans an opportunity to experience a live concert concept and audiences can request the songs they want the stars to dance to. While shooting his next movie Happy New Year in Dubai, SRK held this second press conference in the span of three days to reveal his tour plans. “The audience can tell us what songs they want to see and hear through audience polls, newspapers, radio events that will start soon. We want it to be interactive, so some people who win events can come backstage and meet the artists and see what goes into making a live show. Last year on his birthday, Kamal Haasan released the trailer of Vishwaroopam in Auro 3D surround sound, and this year, it is expected that he is planning to treat his fans by releasing Vishwaroopam 2 trailer on his birthday, November 7."He has been thinking about releasing the trailer of the sequel on his birthday. It was supposed to be released earlier, but there was some more editing to be made. He is yet to confirm if he will indeed release it on his birthday," a source from the film's unit said. For those unaware, the second installment of Vishwaroopam is also a Tamil-Hindi bilingual spy-thriller, which is written and directed by Kamal Haasan, who also plays the role of Major Wisam Ahmad Kashmiri. It also stars Rahul Bose, Pooja Kumar, Shekhar Kapur and Andrea Jeremiah, and has been mostly shot in India. In the movie, yesteryears actress Waheeda Rehman will be seen playing Kamal's mother. The film has been produced by Venu Ravichandran. You must know that earlier this year, when Vishwaroopam released, it faced several setbacks, and despite that it went on to mint Rs.100 crore at the box-office.We hope Haasan attains success with second installment as well!

By now everyone must be well-aware of the fact actress Shruti Haasan was recently stalked by her fan, who tried to barge into her house, where she was alone. However, Shruti put up a brave front, and managed to stop the stalker from entering her house.Later, it turned out that the man of staked her was none other than a spot boy, Ashok Shankar Trimukhe, who has worked with Shruti in the past. Trimukhe’s family is shocked that the actress went onto file a police complaint against him.The family members say that Trimukhe is the main earning member of the family of seven, and he was just trying to approach Haasan hoping that she would be able to get his younger brother a permanent job. Trimukhe's sister Shalini, 30, said, "His arrest came as a shock. My brother learnt that Shruti's sister Akshara is embarking on a film career, and thought she would need a spot boy. He was hoping our brother would get a permanent job if Shruti puts in a word. But, the police came knocking on our door...""My brother did not try barging in. He even made an entry in the visitors' dairy and asked the watchman to accompany him. He said when Haasan began shutting the door he tried to stop her by asking if she recognised him. But she slammed the door, hurting his hand," Shalini said.While, Shruti on her part, said, "In all the time this man was on the sets he never approached me or my staff. Had he done, we would have dealt with the matter appropriately. But as a single woman living alone in Mumbai, I take serious offence to someone coming to my house and trying to bargain.
