It is a known fact that Salman Khan likes to paint a canvas. And to our surprise, he is the one who painted the poster of his upcoming film Jai Ho, got released recently. It is for the first time when Dabangg star took the brush in hand and figured out a painting for a film. Till then, we got to know about his skills only from his close friends who received his works of art as gifts in the past.It is said that Salman was enthusiastic to have his fans on his flagship poster, so thousands of faces have been merged to make a close up shot of him. “Salman, along with brother Sohail Khan (who is directing the film as well as producing it along with Sunil Lulla) were keen to have something special as the first imagery of the film, as they are coming together after a long time,” informed sources.Produced by Eros International and Sohail Khan Productionz, Jai Ho is coming out in theatres on January 24. Interestingly, this movie would be his next release after Ek Tha Tiger, which hit theatres almost one and a half year back, making it the longest gap ever between his film releases.As per the sources, fans queued up on his social networking page to be a part of the poster, which the actor drew and gave to his digital team to incorporate. In fact, the Jai Ho font is in the actor's hand writing itself.Impressive art-work, we must say!

Miss Lovely marks the first release for Easel, the brainchild of distribution executive Abhishek Gautam and filmmakers Bikramjit Gupta, Atanu Mukherjee and Pooja Gupte. Veteran distributor Sunny Khanna is in with Easel and Eagle to release Miss Lovely, according to Screen Daily.“We hope to release across 200-300 screens,” said Abhishek Gautam. “As a team we want to focus on distributing independent cinema in India.” The company will also release Sangee Thongdok’s Crossing Bridges, made in the north-east Indian dialect of Sherdukpen, that premiered at Mumbai Film Festival.Meanwhile, former IFC Films executive Ryan Werner and distribution agency Required Viewing are working on the US release of Miss Lovely, which is scheduled for March 2014. Cinetic Media’s FilmBuff is handling digital distribution for North America.Miss Lovely premiered at Cannes in Un Certain Regard in 2012 and won best film in the India Gold competition at last year’s Mumbai Film Festival. Fortissimo Films sold the film to France’s Ad Vitam in Cannes 2012.

The R...Rajkumar team unveiled the first ever custom comic for a Bollywood film at the Reliance Digital Store in Mumbai today. Producer Viki Rajani, director Prabhu Dheva and the lead pair- Sonakshi Sinha and Shahid Kapoor - who looked all excited to present the fun-filled comic of their upcoming film, were present at the event.The storyline of the comic has been shortlisted from the entries sent by enthusiastic fans across the nation. The winners not only got the once-in-a-lifetime chance to feature in the comics, but were also invited and introduced at the launch.Talking about R...Rajkumar’s custom comic, producer Viki Rajani said "Movie marketing continues to become more innovative and with this film, we have attempted initiatives to reach across all mediums. I'm happy to have the first ever custom comic book for R...Rajkumar which involved direct participation by fans and showed their keen response and enthusiasm".Shahid and Sonakshi, ecstatic with the response the songs of the film have been receiving, said that they were eagerly looking forward to the release of the film. Shahid also danced to Gandi Baat, much to the delight of the crowd present at the event. The first teaser of the much anticipated film Kochadaiiyaan, starring superstar Rajinikanth, released on 9th September, 2013, has shaken up the online space and set multiple records. Within minutes of the launch, the teaser went viral on the internet and took the digital world by a storm, and conquered YouTube and Google. The official teaser trended for two days and has been the most popular video on YouTube. It was 16th Anniversary celebration of Prime Focus that made a memorable occasion. Bollywood’s two legendry actors Amitabh Bachchan and Prem Chopra were seen sharing a delightful time with each other in the event. They had a hearty conversation as they shared a warm handshake and a laugh. Amitabh Bachchan looked handsome as he partook in the anniversary celebrations of Prime Focus. Prem Chopra appeared as lively as he looked in the 80s time at the event in his black-sherwanni style suit. They were sitting at the front row accompanied by veteran actor Rishi Kapoor. Amitabh, too, had a warm conversation with Rishi that was clearly seen on his face in the stills.Amitabh and Prem seem to have sharing their old days that they had spent during the shoot of film like Do Ajnaabi.
