I wish it's a girl. I want a girl child,” while he was promoting a social cause with Miss Universe Olivia Culpo and Sanjana John. Miss Universe was recently in India for a 10 day visit, she was seen promoting female infanticide and women empowerment in the country. Salman known for promoting social issues was the first one to stand with the beauty in the cause. Olivia visited India for the first time and was graced to meet Salman, whom she also says to be her favorite actor in the Indian film industry.

The court case over the redevelopment rights of a Pali Hill bungalow, where Dilip Kumar has been residence for many years, has weighing again on him. It is known that Samir Bhojwani dragged Dilip Kumar to court in 2010. She objected, claiming ownership of the plot. He said the bungalow property was leased to the actor for 999 years, but with the caveat that the lessee would not alter or demolish the structure without the owner's consent. The land, estimated to be worth Rs 150 crore, housed a two storey bungalow, where Dilip Kumar, lived since 1953.According to the friends and relatives of Dilip Kumar, the actor is constantly thinking about the bungalow these days. Currently, the 90-year-old star of Bollywood classics like Mughal-e-Azam, Ganga Jamuna, Shakti and Karma lives in the same locality but at his wife Saira Banu's house next to Sanjay Dutt's residence. A source close to Dilip and Saira Bano, “While we try to keep bad news from him, including the deaths of some of his old colleagues, there is one thing which we cannot bypass, the dispute over the bungalow. His questions on the bungalow under litigation had increased by the day.”The actor was hospitalised last month after a heart scare and the dispute, which is still in court, is having a telling effect on the thespian's health. “We don't rule out that this stress might have played a role in Dilip Kumar getting the heart attack in mid-September, which landed him in the ICU for 10 days. What is amusing to Dilip Kumar and his family is that Samir Bhojwani is very cordial to them and even sent flowers and gifts on Dilip saab's birthday. "Whenever we tell him that we ought to resolve this as Dilip Kumar's health is failing, he says, Haan kar denge. But no stone is moved by him thereafter,” added sources.Saira Banu, about the matter said, “The bungalow dispute is wearing down Yusuf saab. It has affected his health and it has now started to affect my health too.”

B-town beauty Lara Dutta, who is currently away from Bollywood, so that she could focus on raising her child, is set to put forth her designing skills as she will soon launch her own sari collection. She says that designing is her new baby."I have done films for 10 years. This is something new that I have forayed into; so it's my new baby. I am excited about the response from the customers," said Lara, who was in Delhi to launch her second sari range in association with Chhabra 555. Married to tennis player Mahesh Bhupathi, Dutta, 35, started designing last year, and it was then she created a whole line of saris. "The second collection is far more traditional. Personally I am a big fan of Benarasi saris and many other old-age fabrics; so I wanted to make those weaves younger and contemporary. Normally, we associate Benarasi saris with our aunts and our mothers, but I wanted to give it a younger and trendy feel," she said. Even though she is seen less on silver screen nowadays, Lara has no qualms. "I think each thing has its own space in life. I enjoyed being busy. My priority is my daughter. That will always be my number one priority. Now she is getting older, so I am getting more time to celebrate and concentrate on my own work; so here I am promoting the brand as much as possible," she said. Wish you luck!

Veteran actress Madhuri Dixit is all set to make a return in acting with upcoming film Dedh Ishqiya. The trailer of the film released recently and the actress sis bagging applaud for all quarters for her look as well as act in the film, which is quite visible in the trailer.The film stars Madhuri, Naseeruddin Shah, Huma Qureshi and Arshad Warsi in lead roles, and the trailer of the movie came out online on Friday (November 8, 2013). For those unaware, in the movie, Madhuri will be seen playing a dancer, Begum Para, who is an attractive dangerous woman."Dr Nene (my husband) appreciated and complimented me that I am looking good in the poster and promos of the film," said Madhuri on Friday at Sanofi's diabetes awareness event. Not only her husband, l but even her kids are excited about her film. "My kids are always excited. If they see me somewhere in a photograph also, they say 'Mom, you are in this photograph'," she said.The film has been produced by Vishal Bhardwaj and directed by Abhishek Chaubey. The film is a sequel to the 2010 hit Ishqiya. It is based in a small town in Uttar Pradesh. Dedh Ishqiya is slated to release on January 10, 2014.

Recently Deepika Padukone, his co-star of the film, was asked whether it was odd for her to kiss a man (Ranveer) with a moustache. To which the long lass replied, “I have on issues kissing Ranveer with his mustaches.” It seems like not only Deepika and other bollywood celebs are going gaga over Ranveer’s classis look, but even Ranveer himself fond of his mustaches that he puts on for his character Ram in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus.Speaking about his character, the Band Baja Baaraat actor said, “The character of Ram is quite close to Ranveer in real life. And I just love my moustache. To play Ram in the film, I did a lot of hard work, including long hours of workout, learning Gujarati and growing this moustache.”Ranveer has been sporting his well-waxed handle bar mustache look ever since he began shooting for Ram-Leela, and the actor is rather fond of it. “Since I'm done with the movie now, and soon I will be beginning to shoot for a new film, mujhe apni moochh mundhwana padega. Kyonki meri next film agle 10 din me shuru hone wali hai.”Further Ranveer talked, Deepika, whom his is allegedly to be dating these days. He said, “I have learnt a lot from her. She is the one who taught me never to have expectations. If our expectations are not fulfilled, we get disappointed. So, it is better to not have any expectations in life.
