Hollywood actor Hugh Jackman, who is most remembered for his role as Wolverine, may quit the quit the franchise soon, as he says that playing the character has been very compelling for him. It has been for a decade since Jackman has been playing the heroic mutant.Recently he spoke in length about his thoughts on reprising the iconic role. "Great parts always outgrow the actors that play them. If you forget that, it`s at your own peril. They are working on it now, and it would have to be very compelling for me to do it again. I`ve been doing it for 10 years," he said.On the idea of switching comic book characters or doing a crossover, the 44-year-old, said, "The great thing about comic books is that they threw Batman in with Wolverine or Spiderman. I have people ask me all the time, `Do you think Spider-Man can beat Wolverine?` It`s part of the DNA."He was speaking at the Spain film festival, where he had accompanied director Denis Villeneuve to promote his new movie Prisoners. There he was to receive the Donostia Award for the lifetime achievement at the special screening of the movie on September 27."Humbled and honoured by the award. My wife Deborra-Lee Furness won the Silver Shell in Los Angeles in San Sebastian in 1991 for her role in `Waiting`, so we`re going to just call it the Jackman-Furness Award if that`s alright with you."Keep up the good work!

Neeraj Pandey, one of India’s finest contemporary filmmakers, today launched his debut novel Ghalib Danger at an event that was attended by the stars of his cinematic ventures.  After entertaining Indians all over the world with memorable and much-loved films like A Wednesday and Special 26, the critically acclaimed director, who is no stranger to thrillers has further explored the genre with his first book.A fictional gangster saga set in the visually eclectic Mumbai underworld, Ghalib Danger makes Neeraj one of the rare Bollywood directors who have also authored novels. Ghalib Danger revolves around the life of its main protagonist Kamran Ali. A young taxi driver by profession, Kamran stays in Mumbai and dreams of making it big someday. However a twist of fate awaited him as on an eventful day his life transforms when he saves the life of a notorious underworld don from called Mirza. As an act of gratitude, Mirza takes Kamran under his tutelage.Speaking of his book, the celebrated film writer-director and now author says, ‘Writing has always been a passion and when the story of Kamran and his world took shape in my mind, I knew that only a book would do full justice to it. It’s a story of destinies that collide and shape the world of our characters’.The launch of Neeraj’s first book was also a special occasion for some of his favourite stars to come and cheer in support. While Anupam Kher, who credits Neeraj’s as giving him two out of his top 10 roles in the form of A Wednesday and Special 26, read out a chapter from the book to a live audience, Naseeruddin Shah penned the leading quote. Manoj Bajpayee not only joined the gathering but also lent his voice to the motion poster of the book as he read out couplets from Ghalib’s work. Divyaa Dutta dropped by to wish Neeraj good luck as well.

She says, “It could be a designer watch or something even more expensive and personal.” The actress smilingly said further, “I will not discuss the gift because I want to surprise him.”They will be spending 10 days together and after that, Saif will be heading on for a short vacation with his school friends, while Kareena will be heading back to home for her endorsement shoots and will also join the promotions of Gori Tere Pyaar Mein.We think that this is going to be a grand affair for the couple, we also wish them a very happy first wedding anniversary in advance.

The beautiful actress, along with Madhuri Dixit, visited the TV reality show for the promotions of their upcoming film Dedh Ishqiya.It was weekend ka wow episode and Salman Khan introduced the two beautiful actresses on the sets through a dance performance with each. During the interaction time, shy girl Huma revealed that she is a big fan of Salman Khan. She also went inside the Bigg Boss 7 house and from there she said, “I am a big fan of yours and that is the reason, I watch Bigg Boss.”Huma’s revelation brought smile on Salman’s face and he replied to her by saying, “Arre, aap ne pehle kyu nahi bataya agar bataati toh mere saath yahan hoti.”Huma made her feature-film debut with a supporting role in the 2012 critically acclaimed crime drama Gangs of Wasseypur - Part 1 and Part 2 as Mohsina. Star-actor Saif Ali Khan is someone who has made his mark in Bollywood without belonging to any camp, and has managed to maintain steady relationship with each and every actor of the industry. Recently he gave the title of his film Yaariyan to T-Series head-honcho Bhushan Kumar.This shows that the actor very well knows the value of good relations. While speaking about the same recently, Divya Khosla Kumar said that it was really kind of Saif to give away his title. "When Bhushan heard the script, he thought Yaariyan would be the apt title for the film but when we checked the title was registered with Saif Ali Khan's company. Bhushan spoke to him and without charging anything, he gave us the title free of cost. That's really generous of him," said Divya.For those unaware, the film, which stars newcomers, will release on January 10. As of now Divya is looking forward to promote the film on TV reality show Bigg Boss Saath-7, which is hosted by superstar Salman Khan. "I know Salman and he is close to Bhushan. I am happy we are going to Bigg Boss to promote the film," she said.The happy actress-turned-director Divya also didn’t forget to credit her hubby Bhushan, without whom she says that the film wouldn’t have been possible. Bhushan is the head of T-Series. "Without him, it was not possible. His support was incredible and the title was also suggested by him," she said.Best wishes for the film!

All set to be seen in upcoming action-comedy Boss, superstar Akshay Kumar revealed while promoting the Anthony D’Souza directorial, that he has this greed of doing good work, and it is in his nature to not take success for granted.He also revealed that he feels a sense of thrill doing stunts in his films, on his own, and exclusively for Boss, he has also avoided cable action. “In Boss, there is no cable action because youngsters are getting bored of it. They feel that the actors are not doing much — the cables are in all the jumps etc. In this film I have avoided cables. I just sit with my 10-year-old son and he gives me so much input. I get introduced to new music, new cinema, short films on YouTube courtesy Aarav (his son),” says Akshay.With Boss, he has turned mentors to two actors, Shiv Pandit and Aditi Rao Hydari, on the same, he said, “Shiv and Aditi are both very good. The team and I thought that they would be perfect for the parts they play. He's a handsome, good-looking young boy. I really enjoyed the first film that he did —Shaitaan—he had done a very good job. Aditi works from the heart, is a very good actress, with a vulnerable face so we decided that they should be a part of our film. Shiv and I are brothers and sons to Mithun Chakraborty. After a long time, singer Sonu Nigam has composed music of any film album, and it is Sooper Se Ooper. However, as per the latest development, he is unhappy with the makers of the film, as he claims that Reliance Entertainment, the producers of the film, which releases on October 25, has not yet released its music."This is deliberate sabotage. No promotion, no publicity, they have not even given a letter of consent to T-Series so they can start playing the music on TV channels. I am furious with this step motherly treatment," said Nigam, while speaking to the sources. It is learnt that with the film, Sonu has collaborated with Bickram Ghosh, the classical and neo-fusion musician, for the first time. When sources got in touch with CEO of Reliance Entertainment, Sanjeev Lamba, he said, "All partners are meeting tomorrow to discuss the film's release. Till we agree on firm plans, it's premature to comment on this." Meanwhile, sources from T-Series, who have the music rights for the movie, said, "We are doing our bit and we have already started playing the film's music on our YouTube channel."We hope the proper steps would be taken!

A lot of controversies have been circulating around Govinda nowadays. Recently there were rumours that he would cancel an event, as he was stranded in an elevator of a Juhu hotel for 15 minutes, on his way. He was headed for the launch of his music album. Also there are constant complains of him being late on the sets, etc."The lift had around 10-11 people in it, so it got stuck. I felt a tad suffocated," said the actor, adding, "But later, I had a glass of water and proceeded to the event, contrary to assumption that I would skip the occasion altogether. Yet, so many stories of my unprofessionalism have been floating around since the past 14 years! People often complained that I never reach the shoot on time but most of the times, I wasn't given the right time! Commitments were made on my behalf without keeping me in the loop. Yeh sab mera kaam bandh karvane ke liye tha. Where there is fame, there is jealousy." Also few days back, reports made to headlines of him threatening police officers after they asked him to stop his film shoot at Marve Beach without permission. "What can I say, when you are not doing well in life, these controversies keep you alive. This incident did happen. The cops were technically right. It was Ganesh Chaturthi day, aur mera ek shot reh gaya tha. It was 12 noon and to change the location for one shot would have been time consuming so I requested them to let it finish. I told them, 'Aap itne strict kyun hai? Even when I was an MP and a leading hero, maine kabhi bhaav nahi khaya.' It was a request. But we adhered to their decision and shot somewhere else."Hope things get better soon!

Often business deals between two partners turn out to be bad affair, and we guess same is the case between Raj Kundra and Venky’s Balaji Rao. Lately, Kundra has been claiming that how Rao owes him several crores in sponsorship dues towards the fight league that Kundra co-founded with Sanjay Dutt.Even the two has been sending each other legal notices over the same, however, what comes to notice is that it was Dutt, who introduced Rao and Kundra to each other. And even when the two parties are fighting, Dutt and Rao remain to be best of friends. Meanwhile, between all this drama, Kundra has something good to celebrate as well, as the first look of his debut movie production Dishkiyaaoon with wife Shilpa Shetty, was released recently. It will be an action thriller which would star Harman Baweja and Sunny Deol.Recently the teaser poster of the movie was released, and it will be produced under the couple's home banner Essential Sports and Media Pvt Ltd. in association with Eros International, will also introduce newcomer Ayesha Khanna. Shilpa Shetty said, "We are very excited about our very first production. In keeping with our mission, this is a splendid script that will reach out to the large mainstream audience and it's our pleasure to be associated with Eros and its global distribution network." The film is scheduled to release Jan 10, 2014.
