Mass media in our lives. Positive and negative influence.

It is clear that the media could have a negative effect on the youth. According to this online source entitled "What Effect Does Media Have on Youth," the media could come with potential health problems for younger people. Mass media's portrayal of the "thin ideal" is being exposed to children early in life. This causes body dissatisfaction, low self-esteem,negative body image, and can lead to eating disorders.
