This web 2.0 is alot like GoogleDocs. Writeboard is a free web-based tool that allows students to easily collaborate on a single document online. Different versions of the document are automatically tracked and saved so that old ideas are never lost and can be easily monitored by teachers. It would be incorporated well into an english class.

I wanted to really tag the bottom of this page (#4). It shows websites that you can go to, to check if a paper that has been turned in, has been plagiarized. Before this note, they show strategies of awareness and strategies of prevention.

This is awesome. You can look up anything and it gives you an answer. Math students can use this to help them find solutions to problems.

This website has many links to great resources from how to use your calculator to how to use the GSP to how to use algebra tiles.

Allows teachers, students, and parents to create their own personalized flashcards - pertaining to any subject! Card sets can be saved to the database for easy access later. You can even bookmark & share card sets, import, export, print, and quiz / study the cards in the database. This is a really engaging resource (and could be nicely incorporated in the classroom)!

A good site to show students. If they are at home (and have a computer) and don't understand some homework assignments, they can go to this site to get examples and definitions. In high school they can use it for Algebra, Calc I, and Calc II

A site for groups to work on projects together. It has IM capability, email notifications, online calendar,checklist, etc. Teachers can manage classrooms and students can manage projects. It looks like a great place for students and teachers to keep track of and work together on projects. (better if all students have a computer at home) Registration is free and easy.
