this website allows teachers to create worksheets, games and all kinds of things in a very short amount of time, organizing info for the user. It would be a great thing to use if the teacher is short on time, or jsut wishes to same some.

There is a wide variety of what kinds of videos they show. There is math, science, etc.
You tube for teachers! Here you will find videos posted by teachers to aid in their instruction. Some stuff is really good, others not so much, but as with anything on the net you have to spend some time browsing. Great resource if you are not inclined to do your own video!
What do you guys think? Should teachers sell their hard working lessons in order to furnish classrooms with books and whatnot and at the same time make a quick buck? Very controversial!
What a great website! I spent a good hour just looking at all the things on here. They have tips for us "new" teachers, ideas for lesson plans split up by subject and grade, articles from other teachers. if you have a bit of time check it out! it was really helpful to me
World War II photographs of Europe then and now. These could be used in 7th grade SS to show the effects WWII on Europe and how the countries have been rebuilt.
Nice website that has Power Point presentations already made for you (of course you can download and change them as you wish). I like this because sometimes it takes a long time to create a Power Point presentation! I particularly liked the one about "El Mundo Hispano" which talks about countries that speak Spanish, great way to integrate Social Studies!
Great instructional video for teachers and parents to understand the teenage brain. If you are planning on teaching middle and high school I strongly recommend it. If you have taken SECD 4140 you might've seen it already. For me, it was an eye opener. I was a teenager a long time ago and sometimes I feel like I don't really relate or understand certain behaviors. After watching this video I feel more compassionate towards teenagers! Check it out! Teaching Tolerance is a great resource that is free for educators. The materials you can supply your classroom with are amazing. Dr. Taylor showed us this website in class and I can tell you is worth your time.
This is a neat website because it allows students and teachers to communicate and build and develope ideas virtually. It is fun because students and teachers can build games that apply to their curriculum and students can help in that process without wasting classroom time.
This website is used only for homework. Its kind of like blackboard or moodle idea, and eliminates the need to turn in homework in class and take up time doing that.
This is the website we went over in the last class while in the library. It is a very informative and helpful site in regards to lesson plans. Whether you are looking for an exact lesson plan on a particular objective from the NC Standard Course of Study, or an idea to help you build your own. I think this as a great resource for ever NC teacher.
This resource is not only helpful for educators, but for parents as well. The specific article I am referring to provides parents with a detailed list of hints for homework-help and home-front strategies to get the most out of homework and study time (maybe a great "packet" to hand out at open-house =D ).
