  •
This article gives the real reason why the very popular app "Flappy Bird" was taken down. The creator of the game, Dong Nguyen, took down the game because of its addictiveness. For this reason, he was convinced to remove it. This app is not coming back. Dong's intention was to make this game for playing when you are relaxed. Unfortunately, this game turned out making everybody angry and caused many people to scream their heads off. Also, he received treats from Nintendo, because of the use of Nintendo's pipes and character. Dong said in an interview "my life is not as comfortable as before". Also, the app caused sleep deprivation for him. Many people still have the game on their smartphone and play the very addictive rage inducing game.

Online Courses And Advancing Your Career - Business Insider - 0 views

Online courses are now being used by students in university. This allows them to study and complete work from their own home, but the question asked by most is if the online course investment is worth it, in terms of careers. Lou Adler, (a self proclaimed hiring expert) believes not so, because when you take an online course, classes require you presenting your skills to your employer. An online course is not the same as a sit down university course, because it does not provide you with the practical skills necessary. Someone taking an online course can still have an advantage over people who commute to university. e.g. submitting a project you did using your computer, easily, and using it in a job application. You can distinguish yourself from others, using computer generated projects, etc. Depending on what field you want to get into, online courses can be harmful or helpful.

Google Glass: release date, news and features | News | TechRadar - 0 views

my opinion on the Google glasses are that they are not good because they are making people rely on technology way to much. people are relying on technology to much and when they don't have it, they will feel lost. i think people rely to much on technology that they can't have a proper conversation with a person face to face or use a paper map to find their way when they are lost. We have to teach the kids of this generation how to survive in life without technology and not letting them rely to much on technology, because when they don't have it they will not no how to use their brain or books to get info and will be to lazy because the information won't be at the tip of their fingers. this my opinion on the Google glasses

HTC M8 rumor round-up: camera, specs, release date and design - 0 views

The new generation of the ever so popular HTC One is coming. Photos, specs and release dates have been leaked. The M8, (Second HTC One) has been rumored of having a new screen, with on screen controls, more power, a new second camera for stabilization, and the ever so loved HTC One design, and speakers. Personally, i love the new on screen buttons as it gives you more screen space without increasing the size of the device, and allows the screen to be in the center when watching content in landscape.

14 People Using Hilariously Giant Old Cell Phones - 1 views

This article is a timeline of cell phones through the ages.  Although it is intended to be a humorous post, it is worth noting how far we've come in the design of cell phones. There are various types of phones depicted here ... [here is my connection goes ... about how the design of devices evolve to improve our usage and relationship to technology ...] [here is where you put your opinion - I've only been around since the mid-90s so I am more familiar with the smaller devices, much smaller than the one here.  Still, the trend continues, as the form of portable devices continue to change ... i.e the iphone 5 which is thinner than any other phone ever.]
