An awesome display of how todays technological advancements can be so easy to use yet so very helpful when they are most needed. A simple free application installed on a man's laptop saves him over $2000! I believe that this article displays how truly advanced our world has become over the past decade or so. This article relates to our everyday world because laptops are stolen all the time, and it explains how easy it can be to track down the thieves that take these laptops using todays advanced tracking applications. I am truly in awe of today's technological progress within all of the tools that we use every day like ipods, laptops and phones, and i know for a fact that the app prey and many other stolen phone track apps are available for free through many different types of app stores. Don't put it off download your very own tracking app before its too late

Still think mobile gaming isn't a big deal? GameStop disagrees. New to the world of phones and transactions alike: the Blackberry Bold 9900 and Curve 9360 are the first SIM-based smartphones to earn the "MasterCard PayPass Certification." This means that MasterCard thinks the phones are advanced and secure enough to handle MasterCard's NFC-based Paypass system. Now that this has been decided, any MasterCard Paypass-issuing bank can give a PayPass account to the SIM card in these phones. As a Vice President of RIM puts it, this is a "significant step forward in the way we use mobile devices for payments." Indeed, VP, indeed. This quite the large leap for Blackberry, and Blackberry users alike, as it will affect the way we do our business and transactions, and therefore out everyday lives. Jealous, Apple & Co.? 

The latest in RIM's collection of Blackberry's have now been deemed secure enough to handle Mastercard's pay pass system which means that when one of these phones SIM cards is encrypted with a pay pass account it will allow the user to make payments from their Mastercard account through their smartphone

Kobo is about to launch their new Vox ereader/tablet and it is scheduald to be in the running for other big name tablets. they have joined forces with android to bring the best of a tablet and an electronic book put together. What's unique about this brand of tablets is thati it is a Canadian company, 2.5 million users in the US and over 5 million total in the world.
