U.S. Scientists to Test Findings that Neutrinos Defied Physics - 0 views

  •
European scientists of OPERA working out of the CERN large haydron collider at Geneva have reported this week that they have seen neutrinos going 60 (+/- 10 milliseconds) milliseconds faster than the speed of light. This contradicts Einsteins famous equation of e=mc2 which states that the fastest an object can go is the speed of light since all of the energy is put into light energy, and none into mass. American scientists at FERMILAB Chicago are testing this hypothesis this week. This is probably human error and I pray that when the computers take over, we wont have to deal with human error or emotion.

You Can't Delete Your Way Out Of Social Media - 0 views

  •
The main idea of this article is that a great amount of social networking websites can view everything on your account, deleted or not. This is a major breach of privacy because when a user hits 'Delete' they expect it to erase it entirely. This is not entirely true. This also applies to private chat conversations. As a major breach of privacy, this information is easily available no matter how hard you tried to get rid of it. This is an important article because it applies to everyone, including employees. This means that your employer can view any unsavory pictures or posts that you have posted. But is this a bad thing? This technology can be used to catch any criminal activity. Does this mean you should stop using private conversations? No, this means that if you are dealing with anything of a sensitive nature, use a phone.

Instagram Rockets to No. 1 in App Store in Wake of Facebook Deal - 0 views

  •
A few days ago i had posted a link that was talking about how a lot of people had started leaving instagram since facebook bought it, but now it seems it's doing the opposite. For the first time ever, instagram is at the top of the iOS free apps catalog. The article even states that people are starting to join instagram because of all the hype. IT seems that they want to see what instagram is about and if it's really as amazing as people claim it to be. In my opinion, i think the hype for instagram will eventually die down and be another one of those 'used to be apps' like temple run.

New iPad vs. iPad 2: Which is the Better Deal? | PCWorld - 0 views

  •
Whether you are thinking of getting the new Ipad or the Ipad 2, yo should do some little bit of research in the internet. In this article, there are lots of advantage and disaventage about the ipad2 and the New Ipad. The foremost argument for the new iPad is its gorgeous, high-resolution display. It's sharper and brighter, and offers more compelling color and detail than the display on the iPad 2. If you appreciate the difference in image quality between standard-definition and high-definition content, you'll want a new iPad.

Samsung Galaxy S3 vs Apple iPhone 4S head to head review - reviews for UK IT profession... - 0 views

  •
This article is about the difference between the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the iPhone 4S. Both phone are in the major types of phones that are hitting the markets for the past year. There is a major difference between the two phones, the software is built differently. Until recently, Apple, the company that produced the iPhone, has been using Samsung parts into their new phone, the iPhone 5. There is a bigger difference between the iPhone 4S and the Samsung Galaxy S3, the size, the screen the bigger, it is much lighter and also the phone is built curved because it would be easier to talk on the phone with. Even though the iPhone has a longer battery life, a Samsung android, will be still able to last you the day without any lag or difficulty. Personally, I like the Samsung S3 better because with the iPhone, Apple comes up with a new product each year over $500. To be honest I wouldn't really spend the much money on a phone that has another series coming out. Another reason why I would rather choose a Samsung Galaxy is because it would be nice to have a challenge with dealing with a phone than having ios which is fairly simple.

Very true article - 3 views

  •
    Yes, very true indeed!!
  •
okay i have finally gotten to write a description about this :).. anyway... so basically what this article is about is secure internet web servers that use SSL encryption. what this does is make it very hard for hackers, malware, spyware, and all other bad kinds of "wares" out of your computer making it virus free and it doesn't allow ip hackers to watch what you are doing on the internet. The reason for this is mainly to protect bank account numbers, login id's, passwords, credit card information, and even personal information that, if not protected can get your identity stolen. Two big issues that website hosts do not agree with is that SSL (HTTPS secure connection) costs money. It is not that easy to keep a secure server blocking out hundreds of thousands of malware virus', phishing programs, and spyware, while at the same time keeping it free. Also another big problem with this is that it slows down the server. If there are a limited amount of people going on your website (meaning barely into the hundred hits) than you shouldnt have this problem, but for big websites like facebook, that have millions of hits per day, this is a big deal because they want to keep themselves on top of speed and one of the most popular social networking websites out there. basically, to sum everything up, HTTPS servers cost too much money, some websites dont even need them, and they slow down the servers a significant amount.

Gamestop Plans To Sell iPhone, iPod, And iPad - 0 views

Still think mobile gaming isn't a big deal? GameStop disagrees. Though they may not be as in-depth or graphically stimulating as console or PC-based games, but mobile games are accessible to everyone. My grandma can't play L.A. Noire, but she's beat every level of Angry Birds. So it only makes sense that GameStop has decided to put a couple new devices on its shelves: the iPod, iPhone, and iPad.
