Look at this bike. It works, apparently, 99.999999999997, or, it fails three in every trillion times. It looks like your regular, average bike, but the bike is as good as a robot. Relevance? Moving forward in technology, bringing it closer to your every day life. Making everything easier for, breaking past the holds the society of the past puts on you. Cool.

The University of Pennsylvania's Modlab builds a robot that can build and repair other robots using an insulating spray-foam. I think that this is cool because it's actually really hard to build a robot and by spraying insulating foam to create the arms and legs, that's amazing.

Finally winter can be much better. Snowball fight!! Before we would need a pretty good set of gloves to keep our hands dry, but now we can just use a sniwball launching crossbow. It's a bird! No, it's a plane! No, it's the world's first "Spherical Flying Machine," brought to you by Japan, the place where all the cool stuff seems to come from. Remember in Star Wars: A New Hope, when Luke Skywalker was practicing Jedi Lightsaber skills on a small, flying sphere that could hover and move quickly in every direction? Well, Japan's Ministry of Defense seems to have brought Jedi training balls to the world. Mostly driven by remote controls, the sphere utilizes a combination of propellers and wings to hover, fly in all directions at up yo 60 kph and can even move along the ground and walls. They created this ball to solve a problem they were having with aircrafts (they can apparently stand up vertically after flying horizontally, but take-offs and landings were "difficult," as one could have imagined). It is not known whether they will market the flying ball or not, but this is certainly a huge leap forward in the field of robotics, as well as flying. 

This article is about a space capsule named the Dragon capsule. The capsule will be going to the ISS (international Space Station). it is going to supply the ISS with food and new improvements.  NASA and SpaceX have been trying to send  it earlier but they have experienced problems with their thrusters and they had to delay it for a couple of weeks. They have finally solved the problems and the capsule will arrive at the ISS at March 3rd at 6:01 am (so precise). This will be available for veiwing a NASA TV and will start at 3:30AM the same day.

The new OS; Windows 8, is bringing on a lot of excitement, but many people are not too happy with the changes made, myself included. Many people miss the desktop screen, and dislike the new start screen. Others don't like the tiled look and are more used to that of windows 7. There are many other problems and this article describes how to fix all of them. First of all, There is the desktop screen problem. Many of us used to place all our most used programs on our desktop screen so that when you log on, you will have quick access to all you needs, but now all of that is gone and replaced by the start screen. Fortunately, you can bring them back with Start8 (which is easier to use but costs $5) or Classic Shell (which is harder to use but is more customizable and is free). The cool thing about Classic Shell is that it can fix many other things, such as turning your windows explorer from a ribon-ified mess into a usable file browser. you can also fix this problem with Xplorer2. Another problem is that you cant view your videos without buying an attachment to windows media player, but you can fix this with free programs such as VLC There are many other peeves i n widnows 8 that this article helps solve. In conclusion, I feel that knowing that these problems can be fixed will lean alot more people towards windows 8

This site is about the top five headsets for you're computer or gaming system. They tell you the price of each headset, how good the audio is, and all of the little applications that it has. I thought that this article was interesting because I do a lot of online gaming and weather its starcraft or Call of Duty, I always like to be able to go the best audio and surround sound to get me really into the game. This is related to the course because its amazing. 

XBOX appears to be one of those gaming systems made by Microsoft, that has become very successful over the years. They have many dedicated players and always come up with awesome new ideas for the system. Even though I personally do not own an xbox, I believe these new controllers are a very good idea. Although they may not look very different, they are actually going to be more sleek and come in multiple colours like red and blue. They will also be more shinier. They will be released in mid-may and sell for $54.99. This relates to the course because it is a hardware that connects with a software. As well many people will be happy that they can get nice new controllers to replace their old ones. 

Microsoft announces a new Xbox 360 controller, also known as the special edition chrome series. This controller will satisfy gamers who like to have swag while they're playing because all their friends will be jealous of this amazing, shiny controller. In other words, you should buy this controller to have swag. Microsoft also announced that there will be three controllers to be released during may. It comes in blue, red, or silver. That's a lot of swagggg

The new LG smart series come with a cool feature called voice control. You can use it to search for things anywhere like the internet. All you have to do is talk into the remote and this amazing technology will do everything for you. There would be less work involved because you wouldn't have to go on your laptop or computer to search something up. All you would have to do is turn on your t.v. and talk into the remote and your answer would come up. This new feature on the LG tv is very convient for many people and i'm sure it's going to be popular in the near future.

This article was written for the parents of young children. I thought that what they were advertising was very cool and practical. This new table is just the right size for young children and it's much more durable than a regular tablet If it were to be dropped on the floor not much harm would be done. The kids growing up in this time period are surrounded by technology and they'll want one of their own. Parents are able to monitor the websites their child goes on and their child can learn on it by playing educational games. I'm sure we'll be seeing a lot of these in the near future.

NASA has set up a cool contest. basically they're giving 150 people who follow them on twitter a chance to be there and see the launch of the Mars Rover, this is a one in a lifetime chance, and if you win then you will be given a tour of the facility, you will get to meet the staff and see the launch from the bunker. these glasses may be big and attached to a pack which must be carried with you, but it is pretty cool. these glasses may not look like much, but when you where them and turn them on, it displays a projection screen about 1 meter away from your eyes. like what you always see in spy movies or something. the little packs can attach to your belt, and displays it like a screen, it is meant for workers so that they can view the manual when working on something without climbing down to get it. NEC will start shipping these out on Dec 26(the day after Christmas) and I think that it will prove to be very useful in every day situations. it is priced at 400,000 yen or $5,200, but the software is at 1.9 million yen or $25,000

Adobe has made a new set of CSS tools, like CSS shaders, or CSS regions. this is so that CSS can now have better quality with what they are doing, apparently, it can make things on the screen be 3D, which is so awesome, it adds a cinematic feel to it. although we are not going to go anywhere near this in class, it is still cool, there's a video that shows what it looks like.
