This article is very beneficial for those who like free apps like my classmates in this class. If one has the android phone, they will be provided with 10 free apps that they will use everyday. This would be important for people who need certain things right away and can't afford it, or in a rush and don't have the time to download the apps. Daylight saving time might say that it helps make our lives nicer and help us save energy, but in reality it is completely pointless. Daylight Saving Time was actually first suggested by Benjamin Franklin in 1784 but the idea was shot down by everyone stating that it was pointless. The Germans then used it the First World War to save coal during war time. After that everyone started using it and didn't think to change back. Today, people state that this change of time helps to save energy, promotes a healthy lifestyle, and reduces traffic accidents. First off, Daylight saving time does not in fact save energy. Recent studies show that it might reduce the US electricity usage during March and April, but only by 1%. Secondly, this does not help us to become any healthier. In fact, the clock shifts disrupt our circadian rhythms and actually spike the suicide rates and increases the number of recorded heart attacks. Daylight saving time also does not reduce traffic. Some studies show that the time change makes no difference at all while others suggest that traffic is reduced by 0.7 which is pathetic and makes no difference. I personally do not like Daylight saving time only because I loose an hour of sleep and it screws up my whole schedule because everything is off by one hour. I much prefer the clocks changing an hour behind so I get an extra hour of sleep.

We all knew this was coming -  Disney had to reach out to people over the age of eight. Just yesterday, Disney announced the release of two Android Phones - in Japan, that is. The DM010SH will be released in October, followed by the DM011SH in December. The first appears to be based on Sharp's AQUOS 009SH, and the next on the AQUOS 007SH. Special features included on these phones will be disney-themed applications (e.g. calculator, calendar, alarm clock, etc.), and home screens featuring Disney characters. An interesting idea, and one should wonder what would happen if they were to come here.

Disney has just came up with two new Android phones. The DM010SH will be released in Japan in October, and the DM011SH in December. Some of specs of the DM011SH is that it's waterproof, has a LCD touchscreen, wi-fi, and a digital TV tuner. These phones offer Disney themes, Disney calculator, calender, alarm clock, and other Disney based apps. 

Pedro Alejandro has created an alarm app that is called "Wake N Shake.' There is no snooze button. The only way to shut off the alarm is by shaking your iPhone. Check out the video above for a  quick demonstration. 

Through the innovation of technology, with faster CPUs, GPUs and RAM comes one problem. Heat. A lot of it. And, it just looks plain awesome. Personally, no matter how much of a PC enthusiast I am i would not install this in my Personal Computer as this technology is not perfected yet. For a little more cost, not including a water cooling loop, you can get a stick of RAM with not only more memory, but with a greater base clock than even this hyperX H2O at it's finest can't overcome, without the hassle of leaks, and the extra cost of installation due to piping and radiators.

Gigabyte has recently released yet another amazing graphics card. This time it is the ever so popular GTX 780 Ti. The 780 Ti is currently the highest end video card, featuring the absolute best performance, and a budged of which is going to require another wallet. However, this non-reference card (not stock design) features the best a 780 Ti can offer. With it's new super popular windforce cooler, custom PCB (Motherboard) and highest stock clock (speed) of any 780 Ti, this Gigabyte windforce card will surely many the eyes of any enthusiast shine. Capable of an insane stable overclock of 1203GHz this card smashes its competition. It is truly the best of the best, and with a price tag of $810, if your wallet can afford it, you will surely not come across anything better.

A new hardware leak is made official this week, the Chromebook 2. It runs a Chrome OS. This article says that it's exterior  includes stitched leather, and a full HD 1980x1080 screen. Some cool hardware jammed in there, is an Exnos 5 Octa processor which clocks in at 2.1 GHz. Also includes 4 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage available. It's expected to have eight hours of battery life. The chromebook will cost either $320 or $400. For a machine that is internet dependent, and is mainly used for web surfing and storing on the cloud, $400 might actually be too expensive. I don't need this right now, nor do I want to get one, but I think this is a step forward in the field of cloud computing by google. I think there are definitely some better options to pick from, some being microsoft's version of this. Microsoft office is more widely acclaimed, and has the popular vote over google docs. About the specs, it does its job for what it's worth.

Whooo AMD launches its eight core processor onto the market. (Should of launched it earlier so I wouldn't have a Phenom II) Anyways, the top end model FX-8150 is priced at  $245 in exchange for eight cores, and a 3.6GHz base clock. The cpu fits on AM3+ sockets (+1). This processor is cheaper than the core i7-2600 by $55, while having roughly the same performance.
