i think that the ending showed how angry the boy was when he saw the girl, and realized that she was just trying to be nice, and never really had an interest in her. i think he lost sight in what was really going on, and was in a fairytale of what he wanted to happen with this girl.

when sammy quit his job i think he wanted to show the girls he was doing it for them, specifically 'the queen' of the group. he wanted to impress her and show her that he knew Lengel was embarrassing her. i think he also wanted to gain her respect, he was crushing on her and wanted her to see him as the 'unknown hero'. but when he walks out of the store he realizes that the girls were gone 'of course'. but i dont think that sammy regret what he did, quitting. i think he aslo couldnt stop once he started confronting his boss and he wanted to finish what he started.

Charlie Mitchell is my first crushes name. Charlie's parents and mine have been friends for the longest time so i have grown up with him. We use to play together all the time with my sister and his older brothers everyday. He was the cutest thing and he knew i loved him, he secretly loved me too. he was always playing that mean boy role, making fun of me and fooling around, but always came back around and acted like he liked me back. when i was in the 5th grade, charlies father died of brain cancer and thats when charlie and i stopped talking. he grew very distant with everyone around him including his family. his mom thought that boarding school would be a good choice, so in the 7th grade he didnt come back to school!!:( Charlie stopped coming around my house and things just floated away slowly:( i still love him!!!!!
