This You Tube video is all about color balance. The person in the video took a photo that was already balanced and created different variations of the same photo.
Some more advanced principals of design that can be used to attract readers. This particular page goes over how elements in web page design can be put in balance to create greater (or lesser) impact to an audience.
I think this is a great resource because it caters directly to digital writing in that it is aimed at how balance works and can be achieved in web design. (10/14)

This website gives more in depth information about the design concept of balance. It gives several examples of balance with an explanation of how a particular image is balanced. This website is useful because of the examples it gives since the concept of balance is somewhat confusing.

I thought this little blog was very useful for understanding rule of thirds as it applies to photography. I was already familiar with the rule from my photography class in high school and I find it is easier to understand in that context as opposed to the digital drawing arena. Basically, because I understand it in the photography context, it allows me to better understand it the way it has been presented in the text.
