This site gives information on the copy right law, I found this site to be helpful this week based on Chapter 21 reading as well as we already started on our first project and with editing pictures it is important that we comply to the copyright laws. I also made this my favorite as it is important for our project.

I like what the person in this video said about repetition. For example, mentions to give your project some variety by moving some parts of your project around. Or you could give it a new color or texture in order for it to catch the audiences eye.

This is a rather lengthy article, but it provides good insight into why we write instructions and how to effectively do so. I think this article will help me with the project because I like thinking about the cognitive processes behind reading what is writtena nd I hope to incorporate some of the article's information into the project.

In Chapter one of the text, the topic of raster versus vector images is touched upon. I chose this website because it dives a little further into the topic of which type of image you should use. This site is helpful because it is very clear that you should use vector images for logos and illustrations and raster images should be used for digital graphics and digital photography. Knowing when to use each type of imaging is critical when beginning a project.

A video on Adobe Indesign with a tutorial about adding text into shapes and things. I figured this video would be helpful for two reasons because of the subject that we just learned and because it is on an editing program that can help with the projects.

This website provides an easy to follow guide on whether or not to design your website to be realistic or abstract. It points you in the right direction depending on your goals for the project. This would be very useful for a web designer trying to decide whether or not they want to use an abstract design with their website.

As much as I HATE wikihow this little page actually contained some great pointers on writing instructions.

I like the simplicity of this site, clear and concise.

This is a great source because it is interactive. If students are still questioning their ability to write effective instructions, these practical exercises help to hone their skills. The practical exercises test your knowledge of concepts surrounding writing instructions. I think it will benefit project #1 because it's a beneficial prepartory tool.

This page gives instructions on how to conduct a usability test of the instructions you have created. This will be useful for me when I do my project because I can see if my instructions really work before I submit my design for a grade.

This page will help me with Project #1 because it informs me on how to write instructions specifically on the web. It contains a lot of great information, including why knowing your audience is important, how to remain brief but be exact, how to select appropriate wording, and how to perfect the visual appeal of the instructions.

Remediation: An example of remediation, done by a student, focusing on Space Invaders. Very fun and helps to accompany the idea of the text; one media being represented through another, as well as the response of traditional media in an attempt to challenge new or newer media.
