This website provides information on the elements of design, including texture, and how important it can be to interior design, which I find interesting. It is truly incredible how much these elements can influence our daily lives outside of digital media.
I bookmarked this site because it gives all the elements of design. It gives definitions and links to examples and resources. I also made this one my favorite because it explains all the elements and not just what we discussed this week as well as it a very easy site to use.
This site gives great insight to the elements of design in regards to contrast and gives excellent visual examples. Even though the website is for a painter the same principles in designing paintings can and do apply to other forms of design.
This John Lovett site gives you an overview on all elements and principles of design, including contrast. The website is interactive because there are lessons on everything from how to use watercolors to improving tonal contrast.
Alignment is the adjustment of an object in relation with other objects (wikipedia). You are aware of left alignment (often called left justify) and right alignment. By alignment here, we mean the way every element is positioned in comparison to the other element
flow is simply the path a users eyes take through a design. This is primarily a result of how elements like emphasis and contrast are used. In fact, flow is entirely the result of how other elements are put together.
"Alignment is another way of creating associations between visual elements, which help users quickly understand the relationships of objects on a page."
This site goes into more detail about elements such as texture and the emotion seen in lines. This is a good tool for better being able to figure out emotions conveyed in lines that might not be as easy to see.

CHAPTER 6-REPETITION
I liked this site because it showed examples of repetition using websites and I thought it was very fitting to look at for project 2
This site is awesome! It's dedicated to galvanizing design elements, trends, and problems in web design. However, it not only makes the audience aware of the problems, it offers solutions on how to effectively fix design/elemental misuse issues.
You may or may not be aware but alignment is such an integral part of most website design that you probably do not even realize it is there; it sits in the background, hidden as an initial design element. << Reinforces that alignment is more important than it seems.
Good visual flow exists when the viewer of your page takes a tour through all of its elements, understanding what's important, taking in the key pieces and avoiding snags or dead-ends.
