This website gives information on how we can help save our environment. It has different sections which give knowledge on certain subjects, like Smart Growth and Sustainable Communities, Air,Climate and Energy, Sustainable Water, and Materials Managment and Safe Products. 

It is the EPA web page. They give ideas and ways to help improve the environment in all facets of life.

This article discusses the types of action EPA is taking in regards to sustainability. They also talk about the growth, the water, and the efforts they are making to help communities prosper the environment, economy, and society.

To begin, this website supports and funds stability for cities across the nation. The overall goal is to benefit urban communities. This includes jobs, homes, food, ect. The CNT supports and takes care of the urban cities that demand help.

This site is on how urban cities depend on stability, to maintain sustainability. Sustainability creates the jobs, builds homes for the community as well. The website helps to fund the urban cities so that they can maintain there community.

It seems governments and people are putting effort to achieve sustainability. World Commission on Environment and Development said a sustainable society "meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs." Living sustainably, there would be no waste, and we would use half the amount of energy and materials budget we do now. "We need self-respect, identity, community, love, variety, beauty, challenge, and a purpose in living that is greater than material accumulation."

This artice has a several options to learn more about food waste and sustainabilty and all the different aspects within it. One of the main articles focuses on the simplicity of how something as easily obtained as an at home garden can make our world a better place.

There is such thing as raising healthy food humans as well as animals that doesn't harm the environment, thats save  and equal for workers (even farmers), respects the animals and supports our communities. This article is about the NYC Department of Sanitation and the Department of Education joining together to create a collection program. People in the community and schools will be give a container to deposit items that can be composted. The containers will be pick up once a week to make compost and recycle the food instead of wasting the food.

We use energy for everything. We use energy to treat our water , grow our food, produces and to go to place to place. In general we want our community to develop more diverse, reliable, and cleaner sources of energy; to reduce energy usage; and to improve efficiency.

I tried to see what was important on this article but it wasn't very easy for me personally to grasp. I see that you 3 did find the point of the sustainability with electricity. I find it funny that we are always leaving lights on when we leave a room and think nothing of it until we are told it will save us money or that we are wasting something we really take for granted.

This article states that sustainability and energy interconnect in many ways. I agree with Dominique we use energy for everything we do, but hopefully we don't take advantage of the resources we have now and end up leaving are future heirs high and dry.
