Gun control and violence is always a popular topic in debates. However it goes nowhere. Those that are pro-gun control do not use valid facts to back up their reasoning on why parts of our freedoms should be taken away. It will never be harder or impossible for felons/bad people to find guns. Yes, they are wanting to confiscate guns. Buying a gun is not as easy as buying groceries, there are laws in place that restrict who can buy guns legally. Concealed carriers do stop mass shootings. There are lots of myths that come along with the debates, and no one should make a decision without doing research.

Gun control and gun rights has always been a very popular topic, specifically when it comes to elections. Recently there have been two court cases to reach the highest court in the US, one of which was considered to be a landmark case. However, neither case established what laws could be put in place without infringing upon our second amendment rights.

With planned parenthood comes controversy, and opinions range from pro-abortion and anti-planned parenthood, to being against both. But Sarah Torre gives seven good reasons planned parenthood should not be given government funding. According to Torre, Planned parenthood pushes abortions, instead of education about precautionary measures. They oppose laws that protect women and children, and they only care about their profit, and they don't even provide the best care.

As technology becomes more popular, we begin to lose our privacy. The internet is becoming harder to avoid, and personal lives are becoming more public. Websites track your use of the internet- where you go, what you do, etc. In some ways this can be beneficial, as people cannot hide who they are anymore. IRS scandals, disease outbreaks, companies abusing power; all at our fingertips. This has sparked the debate between what is more important: your privacy? or our nation's security?
