State bill 1180 became law, and now citizens in Arizona may carry concealed weapons without obtaining a permit. Governor Brewer quickly signed this bill after Governor Napolitano resigned to take over as secretary of US Homeland Security. This law also requires that when asked by law enforcement, gun owners must accurately answer if asked about a concealed weapon.

U.S. citizens 21 and older can begin carrying a concealed firearm without a permit in Arizona, thanks to a bill passed by Governor Brewer. Some are for the new law, stating it restores the Second Amendment rights in the Constitution. Others oppose the law, believing it puts AZ residents in danger of those who do not know how to properly use a gun, but are carrying one concealed.

I have to applaud governor brewer on how she is handling the president. I think we need people to fight against his policies that really do not make any sense in his everybody has to get along campaign.

Governor Jan Brewer vetoed the right to carry on campus bill 1467. She explained that this bill could lead to potentially dangerous situations on campus.

Governor Brewer apprehensions on the previous bill were the rights were not spelled out distinctly. She indicated the law could have applied to elementary and high school campuses. The National Rifle Association is in support of the purposed bill. Lawmakers supposedly held assemblies with University and Police officials. January 9th the bill was introduced to the legislature. Supposing the bill passes into law, Arizona would be marked as one out of the only five states where guns are allowed on a college campus.

Angry Wisconsin residents petitioned to have the election of their Governor Scott Walker recalled. The voters took up the petition after the Walker moved to strip away union rights.

Arizona has a bill awaiting the state's House approval that would give any employer the option to not offer employees contraception. This bill is meant to protect the businesses that have a religious or moral objection to birth control.

New York Times criticizes Arizona's new strict law that aims to identify, prosecute and deport illegal immigrants. The woman responsible for this ban is Arizona State Governor Jan Brewer.
