However, I relate to this a great deal since this past May & June I went to Afghanistan - and I was traveling with an Afghan citizen. I understand why they would be more cautious. Our coming back flight stopped in Dubai and we expected to have problems coming into the USA, but we also faced issues in Amsterdam. We were questioned a little longer than the other people - almost missed the flight because of it, twice - in Amsterdam & in the USA to coming to Phoenix. However, it did not bother us - we knew we would face issues. I don't even know how many times I was x-rayed - or how much time we spent talking to officials a little longer than everyone else and it happened everywhere we stopped, not only in the USA! I agree with these terms of not being so strict when leaving the USA, but coming back I could understand why the security was a little tighter.

Clues led to the possibility that it may have been an illegal alien who shot and killed Mr. Krentz. This event occurred during the heated debate as to whether Arizona's new immigration law, requiring documentation of legal status in the United States, should go into effect.

This makes me sad. Was it really necessary for that boy to be shot so many times? I understand that border patrol officers have an important job to do and they have the right to defend themselves when rocks are being thrown at them, but to shoot someone 11 times? According to the article the boy was shot 7 times in the back, more than likely while attempting to flee. I do not understand why a man who has his hands restrained behind his back would need to be tazered. These actions are not reasonable or necessary.

This article is about illegal immigrants crossing the border. The immigrants are coming into the United States for work. They send their earnings back to their families in Mexico. The money that they make has a huge impact on the Mexican economy. They estimate that 1 in 10 families in Mexico is dependent on the money sent back to them. It is their primary source of income. Since 1994 the amount of deaths of immigrants crossing the border has increased over 600%. They die of dehydration and hypothermia.

It happened so fast, and has such a huge impact its hard to tell if it is a good thing or if it is actually harming us. Gun control and violence is always a popular topic in debates. However it goes nowhere. Those that are pro-gun control do not use valid facts to back up their reasoning on why parts of our freedoms should be taken away. It will never be harder or impossible for felons/bad people to find guns. Yes, they are wanting to confiscate guns. Buying a gun is not as easy as buying groceries, there are laws in place that restrict who can buy guns legally. Concealed carriers do stop mass shootings. There are lots of myths that come along with the debates, and no one should make a decision without doing research.
