A new law in Alabama requiring officials to check the immigration status of students has left a lot of families scared to send their children to school. In Montgomery County, some 200 Hispanic students were absent and a few others had withdrew only a day after the law was put in place.

Families in Birmingham, Alabama who are illegal and speak spanish are feeling the need to take thier kids out of school to avoid any law breaking. The superintendent realized many students were not showing up to school so had to adress all the spanish speakers by a tv show in spanish. This news report would help the families be aware that the students or the families would not be punished or be sent back to their home country.

This topic just caught my attention because it sounds silly to me that there's actually a law against vibrators. Vibrators are not only meant for sexual reasons, but also for medical reasons, as stated in the article. A good argument was made on how it is ironic that guns are legal, yet a vibrator isn't legal in the state of Alabama;. Also, it raises a good question on what people are charged with if they possess a vibrator while passing through the state.

This article explains how in Alabama it is illegal to sell vibrators. Restricting the right to purchase private memorabilia is against the personal freedoms we all have.
