Great idea! I just read an article about polling and thought of this type of application. Students might interact more if they were not so afraid of public failure. This could gie them the anonymity they are seeking!

Technology Tools for Teachers - 0 views

Take classroom discussions online, where some students might feel freer and more comfortable in some ways to ask questions and respond to each other, and where there's no bell to end the discussion period. (Blog posts can even be made into a homework assignment - as an online journal of sorts - or part of a class participation requirement.)

This website is AMAZING. It has clip-art, photographs, presentation images, maps, lessons, and answers to tech questions. There are so many images available, they are free (up to a certain amount, but it is very generous), it tells you exactly how to cite them, and it has options for file size and format. It took some clicking/digging around, but this is what led me to this site: FL DOE - Educators button at top - Curriculum, Instruction, Student Services - Instruction & Curriculum - Instructional Technology - Educational Technology Clearinghouse
