The games of Calculation Nation are organized around content from the upper elementary and middle grades math curriculum. By becoming citizen of Calculation Nation, students will play online math strategy games that allow them to learn about fractions, factors, multiples, symmetry and more, as well as practice important skills like basic multiplication and calculating area - all while having fun.

This website is provided through the Screen Actors Guild foundation. Stories are read by actors. There are about 25 stories geared more for younger children. They provide options to comment on the stories or buy the books.

This site is a part of the Florida Department of Education's website, however, it is a separate part that is just for teachers. It provides information on different conferences or workshops that educators can attend, or great field trip ideas that are free for classes.

I like that they are sharing field trip Ideas, as important as the classroom is sometimes it's really nice to get students out into the real world
