Although research studies in education show that use of technology can help student learning, its use is generally affected by certain barriers. In this paper, we first identify the general barriers typically faced by K-12 schools, both in the United States as well as other countries, when integrating technology into the curriculum for instructional purposes, namely: (a) resources, (b) institution, (c) subject culture, (d) attitudes and beliefs, (e) knowledge and skills, and (f) assessment. We then describe the strategies to overcome such barriers: (a) having a shared vision and technology integration plan, (b) overcoming the scarcity of resources, (c) changing attitudes and beliefs, (d) conducting professional development, and (e) reconsidering assessments. Finally, we identify several current knowledge gaps pertaining to the barriers and strategies of technology integration, and offer pertinent recommendations for future research.

Really like this one! Categorized by K-5, 6-8, and Educator sections. Provides a lot of very relevant, interactive, hands-on, engaging ideas. I plan on using this one frequently as enrichment for my more advanced students as well as encouragement for my less-motivated ones.
This is a fun and educational website! There are some things it asks you to download from itunes, but there are many, many games and apps available for free. This site offers great math and language arts computer games for elementary students grades k-5.

CPALMS is an online toolbox of information, vetted resources, and interactive tools that helps educators effectively implement teaching standards. It is the State of Florida’s official source for standards information and course descriptions.
From FLDOE site - but also a site that we live by in 5th grade at my school. Gives access to sample FCAT questions based on standards, as well as videos and other resources online that can be used.
Great teacher resources for all grade levels. Includes lesson plans for each subject area based on standards, free printables, virtual manipulatives, and a scheduling component.
This is by far the best site the DOE has to offer. The curriculum maps are easy to design and there is a plethora of lesson plans for each standard for every grade level to work with. This is especially nice when you have little resources from your district!
This seems to be the go to site for teachers right now. I use this a lot to help me with my lesson plans and to find out what technology resources are available.
CPALMS is the official site of the FDOE standards and course description. The site includes educator toolkits, lesson plan development tools and interactive tools for lesson planning and creation
The Seminole County School District offers a link to this website. It provides information about the standards and curriculum benchmarks for each grade and each subject area.
Develop a deep understanding of mathematics. This user-friendly resource presents grades 3-5 teachers with a logical progression of pedagogical actions, classroom norms, and collaborative teacher team efforts to increase their knowledge and improve mathematics instruction. Focus on an understanding of and procedural fluency with multiplication and division.
Offers lesson plans, printables, computer bases labs for students, whiteboard integration activities, even a teacher to teacher blog. The primary focus is on language arts curriculum for grades pre K-5. The teacher share section is similar to diigo!
One great way to incorporate technology in the classroom is to have a focus on STEM learning. FLDOE provides a "teacher toolkit"for grades k-5 with resources to help incorporate STEM into standard based instruction. Including direct links to online learning activities.
This is a great website to reinforce topics in Language Arts Education, grades K-5. These games are fun and interactive. The information is organzied by topic which makes navigation easy for students.
