Blended learning is an important model of learning where large amount of knowledge and skill-based content needs to be imparted in phases and redundancies need to be avoided. I will share few examples of blended learning in this write-up.

Clark, a professor of educational psychology at the University of Southern California, argued that it was beside the point to ask whether distance education is better or worse than the traditional classroom. For those that don't work with an LMS, Engrade looks like a fine tool for educators.  It integrates some interesting power tools. Discussions, wikis, quizzes, messaging.  This might be an LMS substitute for those teachers looking for a free blended tech solution.  Worth investigating!
