This is a superb online recording tool where you can make a 30 second audio recoding at the touch of a button. Just share the short link to share your message. There are apps for mobile devices and a bookmarklet for quick access. udioboo is an iPhone and iPod Touch application that allows you to record audio, add photos and then saves it to the web complete with geo-location data. Audioboo WP allows you to display your most recent recordings from your account on http://audioboo.fm. You will need to create an account on Audioboo in order to be able to successfully link to it.

Our 6th grade collaborative project with a focus on global issues. We are looking for schools to join us with the hopes of working on some collaborative lyrics in Google Docs, remixing audio tracks shared between schools and possibly a skype session. The thing that worries most non-specialists teaching language is pronouncing words correctly from a book. This is where Forvo is is priceless. Native speaker users and the site itself have uploaded audio clips of word for us non native speakers to copy. The site has 250+ languages uploaded.
