(wonder how they will confirm someone is actually taking the course and not have it taken for them by another.) WebNotes is an online productivity and collaboration tool spun out of MIT that is the first of its kind to combine the power of online annotation, organization and sharing tools into a single, easy to use offering. WebNotes is an essential tool for anyone conducting online research in order to gather market data, construct reports, or collaborate with colleagues.

Some major computer science programs at top universities are seeing a slight uptick in the number of women going into the programs. Citing statistics from Harvard (up from 13% to 25%) and MIT (a 28% jump in 3 years), and Carnegie Mellon (from 1/5 in 2007 to 1/4 last year.) Most think it is the economy although some attribute programs to get more women interested in the programs.

"THIS is the true intent of Scratch. Mitch Resnick made Scratch with his team at MIT. The team is (purposefully) called "The Lifelong Kindergarten Group" because in kindergarten we are allowed (or used to be allowed) to try things out, build things and knock them down, make a mess, experiment, fool around with tools, CREATE!
