Combine photos, videos, audio and text to create scrapbooks. This is really cool if you are into sharing pictures in a fun way. I don't enjoy scrapbooking because of the tedious cutting/pasting, but I think I would enjoy this because it is virtual. This would be great for students to use when doing biographies.

A centralized application that brings current events from around the world to one place. It serves much the same as a RSS feed might, but more organized.

You can create you photo albums "Photo Slideshow." You could create an album each year with all of the events that take place. It is nice because you can add audio and video captains.

TwitterFone is a great application for all of those Twitter users that allows them to dictate text messages via their mobile phone to be sent out to everyone on their Twitter social network. Users speak their message into their phone and it shows up as text on twitter. Pros: Ability to update Twitter from anywhere, easily turns voice to text Cons: occassional mistakes with voice to text translation, site is sometimes lagging

If you have your own class website, you can create a short and easily remembered URL that your students can remember even if they access the class website from a different computer than their home computer.

You can stream your music from any web browser, listen to your music at work, publish it on your web site or share it with others. Pros: free service, ability to create playlists, rate songs, share music with others, and no limit to uploads. Cons: slow streaming, not sure how long it will be free, legal issues!

Online Allowance and Money Management for Kids Although Zefty functions like a bank account, there's no real money involved. Parents set up each child and specify how much allowance they get and how often. It's their money, you as a parent are simply holding it for them - so the mom and dad are the bank.

Great for creating timelines about history or project planning. I like that you can add pictures and if you click on the picture or date information pops up.

Time line software. easy to use by zooming in and out it expands the time period and the events.

Operate the Zoom IN and Zoom Out tool to expand the time line and the event that happened during that time will appear as the time line expands for viewing.

SmallWorlds is a 3D virtual world that runs inside your web browser. It enables you to build your own room, house, or even your own world, and fill it with a wide variety of items and fun activities.

Very cool for project presentations. I think the students would enjoy this website.
