This site looks like a great resource for educators. You can learn from someone or teach something to others. You can also find and post learning resources. Collaboration can take place between educators. There are too many things to mention. Check out the FREE and advertisement free website.

This seems really simple to use. Great for kids learning English. I would like something a little more sophisticated for 5-6th graders.

What a great social networking site for instructional technology. This site is created for educators wanting to learn more about Web 2.0 applications and network with others using the technologies. They also post information on FREE live conversations and workshops. This is a site to join.

It provides an easy-to-use learning management system accessible by any Internet browser, a media-rich library of teacher-contributed lesson plans and digital content, including audio, video, textbook, and assessment content as well as online professional development for teachers.

I found this an interesting web application. Please Note: HotChalk's online tools and community content are free, but their premium content like NBC News video and McGraw-Hill Education's professional development courses require a paid subscription. They do give you a free trial. Another note: HotChalk covers all preK-12 subjects, including Math, Science, Music, Language Arts, Computers & Internet, Social Studies, Art and Physical Education. Their mission is to improve the lives of teachers.... I have to agree with that goal...

This site allows users to "play" the guitar along with songs. Lyrics are also included so you can sing along as you play. Coming Soon: You'll be able to learn how to play an actual guitar, make an MP3 of your performance, and share songs with other users. May be a creative outlet for students.

This website could be used in a geometry class, or an art class. This could be one activity that you could easily relate to geometry content, perhaps replacing the age-old project of stellated dodecahedrons.

PicArtia is an online application that gives you the opportunity to create your own photo mosaics for free. You can use your own photos or download others from the web. PicArtia is free to use, however you can order high quality versions as well. HIgh quality prints start at $3.
