I love this website! I use it for printable activities, coloring pages, crafts, and more. It is great for pre-K and K-3. There are worksheets for older children such as word searches, writing practice, story sheets, etc. It is also a great site for Holiday crafts.
This website is predominantly a reading instruction resource for teachers and parents. It includes spelling, reading comprehension and writing helps for grades k-12. It is included in this list because of the variety of lesson plan templates. They include complex unit, daily, weekly, and monthly templates for both elementary and secondary.
Teachnology is a great website that allows teachers to create their own weekly lesson plans. It also provides numerous other resources like professional development, safe search engines, and a worksheet generator. Not only would this site be helpful in lesson planning, but throughout many other aspects of teaching.
This activity is appropriate for middle school students learning about linear equations and corresponds to the Indiana State Standard 8.3.1 for eighth grade math. Students can do a worksheet (provided) about car collisions. Some of the answers will be negative and/or require rounding. To help students visualize this topic, an activity is provided in which students race or collide remote-controlled cars and collect data and analyze the meaning of their results.
