After having run across with this virtual reality platform while reading through the last week's article, I have been exploring it to see how I can facilitate it in my workplace. It's kinda Second Life application which might cause you to become virtual reality life addicts. Highly catchy, highly recommended :)

When Facebook bought virtual reality company Oculus in early 2014, virtual reality blew up. While game and movie studios began reimagining the future, others looked back at the "old days" of VR - a loosely remembered period in the 1990s when gloves and goggles were super cool and everyone was going to get high on 3D graphics.

To see the timeline of the virtual reality with its pros and cons was beneficial for us.

Education and technology are interconnected. This synergy is able to transform the world we live in. The contradictory phenomenon is that while being an early adopter of technology, education is also one of the last sectors to be fully transformed by it, due to institutional inertia and a number of other reasons.

This web-site presents simulations mostly related to natural and applied sciences. When I was a student in SSME in METU, we used to apply actively simulations in this site.
