Marc Prensky focuses on the importance of listening and getting input from students on ways to improve schools. When he talks with them he hears about how bored they are in school, how they hate lectures, and they really don't like being talked at. He also listens to the way that students view technology.

Celestia is a free space simulation software that allows the user to explore the universe in three dimensions.

This online book is a collection of articles that focuses on the Net Generation. The articles include "Technology and Learning Expectations of the Net Generation" and "Using Technology as a Leaning Toold, Not Just the Cool New Thing."

With this amazing website, students can enter in any type of math problem from basic math, pre-algebra, algebra, trig., precalc, or calculus. The site will then ask a series of questions, break the problem down, and explain it step-by-step.

Sara Armstrong discusses the benefits of using students as the technology experts while teachers are allowed to focus on being content experts.

A blog created by a classroom teacher and her 5th and 6th grade Language Arts classes which includes student book reviews, an author study podcast, an online book club and more.

This blog is a good example of how students can write book reviews to be shared with their peers. It will also be interesting to watch how their online book club develops. I look forward to their How 2 Videos especially the video on finding a good book!

LeapFrog recently released the LeapFrog 2 educational gaming system. Several software titles are available for students of various ages. The new system connects to the LeapFrog Learning Path, which is an online tool that allows parents and/or teachers the ability to monitor progress.
