Though maybe not au courant in terms of technology, this collection of java applets for Physics Education is really neat, with a lot of helpful animations to help explain Physics concepts.

Using technology to individualize physical education workouts and to help them understand the purpose of the exercises they are doing in class.

Students began by studying biomes then divided into groups of five. Each student in the group drew one of the five major biomes. Using books, cds, and the internet they had to find out the physical features, wildlife, vegetation, climate, and problems confronting their biome. Each person in the group contributed information, video footage taken at the zoo or aquarium, and additional graphics when needed to teach others about their chosen biome. The project was put together in iMovie and shared with all students in the class.

Assistive technology enables physically disabled student to participate in marching band and learn to play the euphonium.

Students play with a simulator/game that teaches them the concepts of motion, forces, electricity, magnetism, and light. This site was designed by the Science Museum of London.
