A good alternative to MyWebspiration.com with many of the same features. In MyWebspiration I did not uncover how to save my work as an image, something that would facilitate photo editing. Bubble.us.com enables this function.

For those of you familiar with the software Inspiration, this is a web version with some of the same options. This is a mind mapping tool that helps you "capture ideas, organize information, collaborate and share your work, and create diagrams.

Webspiration is a teacher friendly site that contains a vast array of graphic organizers, diagrams, writing organizers and many others. This site is typically used in grades 5-12. With many options, students and/or teacher are able to find an organizer that suits their project or essay. This site is easy to use and is effective in assisting students in independently developing their graphic organizer. 

Webspiration offers collaboration and graphic organizer software for classroom or professional use. Webspiration has free subscriptions available as well as subscriptions for purchase. I found it to be easy to use and share.

I haven't built anything yet, but I will use it for a mind map of Web 2.0 functions.

This is a free mind mapping site that is very easy to use. It uses colors and branches effectively. As a graphic organizer tool, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a free site.

This is a free online Mind Map creator which would be very good for a Pre-Training demonstration, to allow the learners to see what the instructor has planned for the workshop.

Easy to use fully interactive web interface. Filled with easy start graphic organizers templates: You can share and collaborate on graphic organizer with friend. Allow you to organize your class assignments in shared projects. You can also create mindmap, circle diagrams and storyboards. it is great for generative learnig and collaboration with others. I found this website to be better than other because there are multiply multimedia you can create. Mind42 is a browser based online mind mapping application. With Mind42 mindmapping tools are no longer needed, you can manage ideas alone, or work collaboratively

The mind42 site offers a free online tool for creating graphic organizers / mind maps similar to those created by webspiration. However, mind42 provides excellent file export functionality saving as .jpg, .png, .pdf, and other file formats. Also of interest are collapsible / expandable branches that could facilitate a gradual introduction of topics in a live lesson, as well as the ability to include notes, Web links, and a variety of icons in each node as needed. Of note, however, is the ability to include images directly into the graphic organizer by searching for relevant images online or by providing a direct link to an online image. Some basic formatting options, such as text color and size, are present. However, as all nodes other than the parent or central node are lines, no formatting of shapes is available. The tool does offer a simple approach to creating mind maps and graphic organizers, which may warrant additional investigation and use. In short, the saving functionality, branching without termination nodes (use a line instead), collapsibility, and image inclusion are features that may prove more useful than comparable tools. Considering essential cognitive processing, the tool may assist with selecting and organizing complex material in order to reach a generative processing state. This may be possible by presenting information in a keyed and organized approach, which is a central premise of most mind mapping software.

Mind42 is an online mind map that allows users to add images to their brainstorming and collaborate with others. Users have access to a gallery of mind maps and can post comments. This site can be used for essesntial learning based on its multimedia capabilities. Mind42 is a better website than other mind maps that I have reviewd because of the extra support provided through the gallery of mind maps.
