Jog the Web allows users to create a list of online sources. I've used the site with students conducting research. The students collect their sources and create a jog of their material.
I have found some really useful Web tools through this group. I am using Scoop.it with a group of Freshman Comp I students who are working on research papers. After the students chose their topics, I asked them to create accounts in Scoop.it and collect their resources there. Once they had collected the sources, they had to evaluate them to see if the sources would be suitable for an academic research paper. I would like to know if anyone else is using Scoop.it and how. In a recent Diigo collection, I found wallwisher.com. I immediately created a wall so that my students could post haikus in one class while another class posted tips on writing essays on a separate wall.
