Poverty is a serious issue across the world. Starvation and illness can surge through low income and create a serious health risk for many.

Within this article I learn about what effects poverty might bring to children. I learn that living in a poverty, it can have effects within the family, and educational outcomes.Children who grown up in poverty don't have many opportunities such as those who grown up in middle class or upper class. Poverty has many effects on a child's life and how they will live as an adult.

I have never researched poverty in children,but I can imagine what kind of effects it has on them as a grown up. When those children are born into that life,the cycle is really hard to get out of.

This article focuses on the interrelation between poverty and health. It gets into further detail about the reasons why people may become extremely poor because of their health situations. It also implements different solutions to help those who find themselves in situations like these.

This article gave me information on healthcare from a perspective of the people living at the poverty level. It focuses on how different strategies and projects made directly to change the affect of this healthcare system in its current status.

This article does well in representing how complicated poverty is. I liked how the authors showed how health care is a cause of poverty, and poor health care is also a sign of poverty. It goes to show the dual nature of many social issues and why solutions are increasingly challenging. The solutions offered by the authors look like they would be effective, but executing them might be difficult. It would be hard because these solutions are very general, and they would cost money as many of them require the government to force the cost of healthcare down.

As claimed by the World Bank, as of our present day, more than a billion people live not even on one dollar a day. Around 70% of them are females, and about half of the population of sub-Saharan Africa lives through it all at that level of income. Around every 4 seconds, one child dies out in the world due to a poverty issue.

In this site it is explained how plastic effects human beings, more so the poor. The poor are targeted by pollutants in the plastic that are burned in open incinerators. The effects of plastic is an issue not many of us consider because we all take recycling as a good deed but it is shipped to Asia where the poor is effected by pollutants.

This article brings up the topic of consumerism and the massive inequalities in who is doing the consuming, The author answers the questions of how this effects the environment and effects our societies, There is also some data on what we spend our money on and how relatively little it would take to give those in poverty basic necessities.

this article comes from the same website as the first. I chose this one because i believe everyone should have the right to education if they want it.this article goes into depth about the issues other countries are having educationally.

This article bring to attention the fact that so many kids are required to put their needs above their education. It is unfortunate that this happens because it has such a huge effect on their future. I cannot fathom trying to live on $2 a day or less!

Covid-19 has had plenty of negative lasting affects on many lives. This article shows a lot of the ways that this pandemic has created havoc in our lives. It has risked jobs and family home have been destroyed. It creates deb that can be hard to pay back.
