I feel like bullying has become more and more of an issue over the years. It is sad to see what is going on and I would like to see more schools implement programs to stop it.

Bullying as gotten bigger over the years especially dealing with how big social media is getting. I wish school and adults would help stop this issue because it is always overlooked.

Students were given an assignment to complete a crossword puzzle, teacher did not ensure that it was appropriate and their were inappropriate definitions for the words. This made many parents upset and was told to correct and ensure principal was in attendance when corrected.

This is just a simple definition to get a clear understanding of what we are researching. Understanding what a personal freedom is, is important to our society because we all have a right to something.

The Justice System definitely has the potential to be corrupt, or at the very least, can be biased. What happens when the judge hearing a case has a personal bias against an important characteristic of the case?

This article is eye opening, and really speaks to the power which corruption has, or possibly the corruption which power brings. This is just a small instance in cases where abuse of power and nepotism can really dismantle government. I fear our two party system absolutely fosters this type of behavior, and certainly not to make it political in any sense: it is frightening to understand the possibility. Great article.

I definitely agree with this article. Even if some people like to think this isn't a problem it definitely is. For men and women in the same field regardless of what that field is men often get the higher income than women do. My mother is a major example of this and often talks about how the men in the same department as her make more money even when they produce less work that generally isn't that good. On top of that my mother works the same amount of hours and even more than average in a given week yet still doesn't come close to the pay gap. Of course, there may be inconsistency in statistics but it is definitely still an issue to be aware of because it still exists.

Agreed! Water is essential for everyone and we are wasting tons of it. Lots of us not even knowing! We recently had a person from our water company come to our home and tell us we were using too much water. Turns out we had a toilet constantly running. The rising suicide rates across the globe are disturbing. Over the past 45 years, the suicide rates have risen by 60%, they have nearly doubled, and are getting worse every year. As of 2016, a person commits suicide every 40 seconds, and the CDC believes that that number will rise to one every 20 seconds by 2020, a disturbing figure. The phenomenon has had little explanation as to cause, however i believe it is the fall in the number of people of faith, or religion. Over the past 50 years, more and more people have lost faith, and crime rates, and suicide rates have skyrocketed. But that is just a theory.

We all are aware and know how scary suicide can be but it is heartbreaking to know that every year the growing rate is rising. Gender equality still remains a big factor in women lives when it comes to career choices. That's crazy to hear Covid has had such a negative impact on students performance in school, it's really disheartening. It is a rough transition going from learning in school, then trying to teach yourself through online school in quarantine, it's definitely not for everyone.
