This link shows everything wrong with our world right now. I am constantly outraged by the wage gap, and how employers are allowed to get away with it. It blows my mind that so many people claim that men and women are CURRENTLY treated the same way, when clearly they are not. p.s i actually book marked this link on my computer, that way i can send it to anyone who disagrees.

This has been an ongoing issue for us women since day one. inequality in employment, wages and opportunities is extremely unjust. I think the more its brought to the surface and the more we show we still haven't forgotten, we will eventually get somewhere. Just like when we all came together for women's rights on inauguration day :)

Women's right are changing. Women's need equal opportunities in workplace and education. This link is showing us how unfair is society with females. Hopefully in the future everybody is going to be equal and we will have the same opportunities.

It seems that for all of the changes that have been made, a lot still needs to be done. There is no excuse for our country or any other country to still be dealing with unequal rights for women. The violence is disgusting, as well as discrimination and unequal pay. Thank you for sharing.

As a woman, I believe we have definitely come a long way. However, I believe we are not completely equal to males yet, which we should be. More changes need to be done.

How could someone hurt an animal? I don't understand why people are so cruel. It's terrible that they are overlooked. Animals need to be taken care of just like humans.

Reading articles about animal cruelty make me extremely sad. Things like this should not be a problem yet it happens all the time.

Anything that brings up animal abuse it extremely upsetting to me. Things like this needs to be stopped it should not even be an issue.

The article is great to see why we need press freedom. It can gives us the sense of protection as it shows what the government is doing and to keep the government from doing whatever they want.

The article gives us a good look into how the press will do what they can to show us the truth. the press are the ones who give the people what they need to see and be able to show their opinion to such decision besides the government deciding for the people.

I really like how this article starts off with, "The press was to serve the governed, not the governors".

In my opinion, paternity leave isn't something that should be issued. They can bond with the child when they get home from their job. Meanwhile, the mother just stays home and takes care of the baby since she'll have to rest and recover those few weeks post giving birth anyways.

I think if they want to get people off welfare there should be a more effective way to push everyone to get back on their feet. Have the adults do volunteer work, drug testing and education and or work training to fall back on when the benefits are cut off. This will help with the adults who have no work experience or education, prevent drug users from taking advantage of the help and maybe some people will think I should just get a job that pays more. Mcdonalds pays $11.00 an hour now and you don't need an education to start plus they help pay for you to continue your education as a benefit. I was a single mom for 7 years, the struggle is real. After several different jobs I finally got stable at one, went to school full-time for 3 years then took a break, rented my own place, had a bucket for a car but got me where I needed, sacrifice and determination got me far without government help. Had I had government help maybe I would have been done with school years ago at 28 and I wouldn't be furthering my education now at 36.

As a mother who breastfed all four of my children where ever they were hungry, I would shame those who thought they could shame me. My children, my whole family in fact all ages whether they breastfed or not have a respect for a womans body especially when it comes to feeding a child. My kids do not stare or point out or act like its gross when they see a mom feeding her baby. People all around the world whether they breastfeed or not need to teach their kids to respect nature. This way in the future mothers will no longer be shamed when trying to feed their babies.

Its so annoying that people feel like breast feeding a child in public is wrong. This is a natural thing, its a part of life. People just need to grow up and stop seeing it as sexual exposure. Its a beautiful bond between a mother and child.

Breastfeeding is one of the most amazing things women body can do. Our society make it seen like a sexual act....Breast milk is the first healthy food for babies when they are growing up. In hospital, nurses invite patients to breastfeed their newborn because that is the best food for babies.

An article by Greg Mullenholz on the fact that education is a social justice issue within our society. He calls education "a dividing line between success and failure" and states that access to high quality teachers and education is a key component to helping students who are underprivileged to receive the future they deserve.

This is an interesting perspective. I do believe education in America needs to be improved and the lack of action will cause America to become irrelevant in our modern era. I believe we need to reform our education system that is already in place and have families make it a higher priority rather than have the federal government mandate a solution.

Education may be one of the biggest social justice issues because it is one of the main factors that determine a productive future instead of incarceration. The article states that "education was the dividing line between success and failure." There is a need for high-quality teachers along with equal opportunity for a good education among all different income levels.
