  •
This article looks at the prejudice of the legal system toward men in child custody cases. Anti-father and pro-mother bias plays a part in a judge's decision to award full or partial custody. Gender bias is prevalent in our American Justice system, even when bound by a code of judicial obligations.

I have thought this for a long time now. As women become more a part of the work force, more men are taking on the roles as the primary caregiver for children. because of this, I believe that the old stereotype that men are gone all the time and have no idea on how to be a caregiver is completely false.

Wrongful convictions are so unfortunate and probably grossly under-reported. It is a situation that definitely needs more light shed onto it.

Wrongful convictions are never a good thing. So many of them happen all of the time and we are unaware of it. It is definitely something that is preventable but not always completely preventable. There is still always a possibility for it to occur.

Prison - Prisoners' Rights - 0 views

  •
A good resource that lists prisoner's basic rights and expectations while serving time. It points out the constitutional rights they maintain and reviews other rights that have been challenged in Court. I do believe that prisoners deserve to keep their basic human rights and these should not be compromised.
