I believe that Gay rights, even though it has been passed through the supreme court, is something that society is still struggling to accept. LGBT couple should be given the same opportunities as those who are not LGBT. For example, the ability to have or adopt children. It's a shame that some families are still denied that right. This is so true and sad. I have a friend who has bad PTSD and they treat it as a joke at his workplace. Mental illness is so prevalent and even now we are finding out so much about it and just how many people are affected by it.
I do have a problem with this because I have Asperger Syndrome. I do hear of some getting fired just because of their disability. I would never want to get fired because of a disability. If they did that to me, I'm hiring a lawyer. I'm sure that I'd win the case because they would find it as discrimination.
