I think that this situation is sort of a "hush hush" situation so I think it is great that people are talking out about it. If more people talk about it, then maybe people that are suffering from situations like this can be open about it and about getting help. I also think that people opening up about it, will open up societies eyes and realize that people are suffering from this mostly because of the pressure people have to look how society wants.

People are so wrapped up on having the perfect body that they fail to realize their hurting themselves. Eating disorders are very tragic, but are also very common these days. We start to think that just because one plan worked for someone else it will work for everyone. The truth is, everyone's body is different and reacts differently too.

Many schools have clubs that include many types of students that help them get involved and in a community. These clubs are sometimes led by teachers, fellow students, or parents. Examples of such organizations are FCA, bible study, and so on that are incorporating religion into school. Some say this is against the law, while others say they are merely meeting in the school and not teaching it with the curriculum. I looked at a similar article when choosing my articles. It is interesting that so many of think prayer is not allowed in schools. So often the media sensationalizes these matters, and we as citizens do not do our due diligence in double checking the facts.

special education rarely sets up special lesson plans for the students thinking they can learn anyways.Teachers then have to take the time to go through and make those accommodations. This seemingly little accommodations can take a lot of effort but they allow students to have higher success rates. On this topic, so many things to say. I have to admit here the educational system is very different than other countries. What really surprised me, was that the classes like history, biology, chemistry, geography..are optional. I really don't understand how you expect a child to learn and get some general knowledge, if these classes are optional. It is most likely that the child would chose none or one maybe, and then we think oh, the child can learn from internet or TV. But, the child would rather play a game online or watch a movie. The educational system needs readjustment and the curriculum changed in some classes where you have only dry material to study. We live in a society where technology is everywhere in all forms, we should take advantage of that, and create something more attractive to kids with the purpose of learning, almost like a game. I am sure that will attract children, and it will even encourage competition among them. For example, some of the educational apps, we see on all devices.

I believe that Gay rights, even though it has been passed through the supreme court, is something that society is still struggling to accept. LGBT couple should be given the same opportunities as those who are not LGBT. For example, the ability to have or adopt children. It's a shame that some families are still denied that right. This article is very informational on the death penalty in Arizona. It shows a timeline on how the process started back in 1965, until current times. It ranges from hangings, to gas chambers, and now the lethal injections. There are examples provided as well on the different inmate cases that were sentenced the death penalty. It is more informational rather than argumentative on death penalties.

In my opinion I'm not agree with death penalty for criminals. I know that some of them deserve death or more but I think we don't have the right to take lives away.

Women deserve equal pay. On average, they are paid less than their male counterparts. It effects their spending power and what women receive in their social security.

The 77 cent claim has been repeatedly refuted because it does not accommodate for the fact that women are more likely to choose lower paying jobs or jobs with benefits. Men on average work longer hours. Single, childless women in major cities earn more than men. Women obtain 58% of college degrees. Women are less likely to go into STEM jobs. I definitely agree with this article. Even if some people like to think this isn't a problem it definitely is. For men and women in the same field regardless of what that field is men often get the higher income than women do. My mother is a major example of this and often talks about how the men in the same department as her make more money even when they produce less work that generally isn't that good. On top of that my mother works the same amount of hours and even more than average in a given week yet still doesn't come close to the pay gap. Of course, there may be inconsistency in statistics but it is definitely still an issue to be aware of because it still exists.

Becoming to controlling, demanding, and jealous are a few examples they specify. Any type of abuse may not show early on, but become more clear as the relationship progresses.
