Intense Situation Room Photo - 0 views

  •
The photo shown subliminally describes how much the United States has changed in the past few decades. African-American males went from being the people to avoid, the people who commit crimes, the people who make our country look bad, to one of them "terrible" African-Americans being the alpha male of our country. We have broken the racial threshold after electing a black president. The image shows that women can also be extremely powerful, too. When John F. Kennedy was president, for example, it would be otherworldly to have a woman with as much power as Hilary Clinton. I believe this country has taken a step forward in accepting people for who they are, and not the color of their skin.

Knoebels - 0 views

  •
Opening day at Knoebels was very busy opening day. The numbers were up five percent more than last year. Knoebels has been honored by the National Amusement Park Historical Association as its favorite traditional amusement park in the country. They recently made the park smoking restricted. There are now designated smoking areas. Until Memorial Day, Knoebels is only open weekends.
  •
I think it is a very good thing that there is smoking restrictions in the park. Many people will disagree but it is for the better. It's also good to hear that Knoebel's numbers are up this year.

Vindication of Obama's strategy - 0 views

  •
"The killing of Osama bin Laden is a powerful argument for emphasizing counterterrorism over nation building in the war on terror." says Fareed Zakaria. It would be too generous to say that Osama Bin Ladens' death has to do with Obama's war on terrorism strategy.
  •
There going to get back at us.
  •
All Obama's strategy was to get high polls for next election and lieing about Osama bin laden dead is the perfect plain because he is wanted but He is a CIA agent, Why would they kill there own people?

  •
The Army Corps has blown up a levee in Missouri to save a town. The levee released water and flooded 130,000 acres of land in order to save a town. They say this was necessary in order to save lives. The town that was saved was Cairo.
  •
It turned out to be a good thing because a town and people where saved and hopefully no one was hurt in the process.
  •
It's better the levee was ruined instead of Cairo.

Obama born in U.S. - 1 views

  •
Skeptics and conspiracy theorists have been attacking president Obama with their doubts that he was born in America. Statistics show that 25% of citizens have doubt of his birth on U.S. soil. But, evidence has shown that he is a U.S. citizen. And was born in Hawaii. Proof such as the document of his birth in the newspaper, the birth certificate, and memories of the current governer of Hawaii as Barack was a baby.

This is good, this will make all the skeptics finally shut up about our president being an American.
  •
The government can make the people of the United States believe whatever they want us to believe. Just because some piece of paper was copied onto a newspaper doesn't necessarily make something true. I believe that until there is an actual visual of his birth certificate then no so many people are going to believe that he really is a us citizen.

    Not according to Donald Trump.
  •
Obama may have been born in usa but he dont act it

Gas prices jumped more than 11 cents over the past two weeks. The pace of higher pump prices has slowed and they may have peaked. The average gallon is just 23 cents off the all-time high of $4.1. They say the weakening of demand and slower rate of rise may keep it from hitting the all time average.
  •
Gas prices have been on the rise for a while now. Surveys say the average cost of a gallon of gas in the United States two weeks ago was $3.76 but now it rose to $3.88. The prices in the past two weeks rose more than 11 cents. Publisher Trilby Lundberg says gas prices may be at their peak right now.

Ford - 0 views

  •
Since gas prices rose Ford gas been struggling. They're trying to give incentives out to customers buying their vehicles. They're not only having problems with the vehicles but the technology inside. With gas prices rising people just want the simplest and cheapest vehicle. The technology may be a turn off.
  •
So there is another reason why these gas prices are ridiculous and someone needs to step up and fix what is wrong before there is no turing back and the u.s. is in an uproar.

Pope calls for peace around the world in Easter message - 0 views

  •
During an annual Easter message Pope Benedict the XVI called peace in the Midwest and areas in Africa. The pope also urged the restoration of "peaceful coexistence" in Ivory Coast, where a political stalemate led to violence. The pope also said that young people of Western Nations should work together for a common good. He also said that the people of these nations should build a society where poverty is defeated. Finally, the pope hopes that the victims in Japan will find consolation and hope in the after math.
  •
It would be nice if his ideas actually became true but they probably never will.
  •
People do need peace right now. There is so much fighting going on throughout the world that could be stopped.
