Grete Waitz a Norwegian Marathon runner died today in Oslo. She won 9 New York City Marathons. Her first Marathon in 1978 she set a new record time of 2 hours 32 minutes and 30 seconds. In 2005 she announced she had cancer. She inspired runners all of the world.

She has accomplished a lot in her life and made huge accomplishments on winning her marathons. It's sad she has died but she definatly got a lot out of life.

One person died after a small crashed right next to a airport in Miami. After the pilot took off he reported he was having problems and tryed to land back down at the airport. His plane went off course and came crashing down on a angle. The pilot died as the plane bursted into flames on impact.

Airports should take more time to check their planes to make sure there is nothing wrong with them.

A plain should be check more carefully before it takes off.

A Selinsgrove man is facing criminal homicide charges. Alan A. Martin, 21 pronounced dead 11:13 a.m. March 15.

That's good. One less murderer on the streets that anybody has to worry about.

I believe that this man should be charged with homicide for stabbing this man to death.

Death toll rises to 118, Missouri governor says. A siren test is scheduled for Tuesday. First responder struck by lightning is in ICU. President Barack Obama plans to visit Missouri this weekend.

Wow, that's horrible. i wonder how much money is gonna be spent to fix the places that got hit.

I feel sorry for the people house and family that died and losted everything. Missouri's tornado is one of the million that hit in the U.S.A

There was a subway bombing that left 12 people dead. It also left more than 200 wounded in Belarus. The interior minister says it was a radio-controlled bomb that was used. The bomb was placed under a bench at a busy subway station. He also says, police have created composite pictures of two male suspects using testimony from witnesses. Another official says several people have been detained in the investigation. It's not clear if those people are considered suspects. Earlier, the domestic security agency in the former Soviet nation said it had identified the likely attacker.

That is horrible. Twelve innocent people died for most likely no reason.

In Boston a mother was accused of killing her son. the mother said she withheld lifesaving drugs from her cancer that was making him sicker. She was found guilty of attempted murder in connection with her son. The boys name was Jeremy Fraser. He was 9 years old. he was diagnosed with cancer in 2006.

This is such a sad story. I think that it's very wrong for somebody to do this to their own son. This lady must have thought she knows more then a person who had gone to school for years to be able to tell the boy he needed these drugs.

I don't know how you even do that its just not right. Yet not all people are right i the head it's just something your born with....

In Long Island, New York a serial killer is on the loose. Police officers said they found remains which could be up to 9 bodies. They found their first remains in December. Four of the victims were on craigslist. The police are looking for more evidence that can tie someone up to these murders. They have everyone including the K-9 unit looking.If they don't catch this guy he is just going to murder more people. Hopefully, one day justice will be served.

I hope they find this serial killer. For the peoples in Long Island, New York. Hope there are no more people found died there. Hope everyone stays safe

Hot dry weather returns to Texas this week and the national weather service issued a red flag warning for large portion of west Texas. A fire scorched nearly every inch of a 10,000 acre. Some cattle of the Cormack family farm almost incinerated by fast moving flames. Forest service responded to 17 new fires over the weekend and to firefighters have dies so far with others having numerous injures.

Thats not good at all. More dry weather, more fires and also more damage done.

That is terrible. Hopefully nothing bad happens.

A Boy Scout troop from Lafayette, Louisiana was found Tuesday. The campsite was found by helicopter a National Guard helicopter.The scouts were being transferred by helicopter to a command post. All the boys are fine. officials were confident the troop was safe, saying the scout master with the troop was very experienced and serves as a backpacking trainer. The average age of the youths is 14.

That is a great thing that they found the troop!

if they would have not took off then they would not have got lost in the first place

David Allan Lewis from Greenville, South Carolina was hiking with his girlfriend and their dog. His dog got away from him and ran towards the falls. He ran after his dog and reached for it and they both went over the falls. The dog caught himself and got back up. David fell 125ft to his death. What a terrible thing, nobody really deserves to die

I understand that dogs are mans best friend but this whole situation could of been avoided only if the man would have let the dog figure it out for himself.

That's really sad that he lost his life trying to save his pet. He must have really cared about it.
