This is an article published in The New Republic, an American left-leaning political magazine, in which the author, Bernard Henri-Levy, argues that the PKK should no longer be considered a terrorist organization. He cites four "factors" as evidence. Tunisian security forces arrested 21 individuals suspected of being involved in the deadly attack against the Bardo museum. The 21 suspects belong to two terrorist cells and so far 46 suspects have been arrested. The terrorists cells will be charged of being accomplice in the terrorist case through providing weapons and logistics.

In the week leading up to 9/28/14 the Egyptian army has killed 26 terrorists and arrested 84 others. The operations took place mainly in and around the Sinai peninsula and include the destruction of 18 cross border tunnels between Egypt and Gaza and thwarting illegal immigration of 148 people. This was part of a larger ongoing operation against unknown militants in Sinai that rose up after the ousting of Mohamed Morsi last summer.

The question asked is, "Does the March 18 Tunis attack signal that Tunisia will be the next Arab Spring state to be swallowed by violence and repression?" The answer is no. The attack was shocking and like I said in the article it has damaged the country's tourism industry which is a huge part of Tunisia's economy. The bigger picture of this article is the neighboring states of Tunisia. Libya is in a worse state where a lot of terrorist attacks are going on or the terrorists are coming from Libya into Tunisia. Tunisia can never have true security until Libya's situation is addressed.

The limitations and punishments are a couple of the concepts discussed in this article. With the declaration of the Muslim Brotherhood being a terrorist group, some detail is shared regarding the problems that will now arise in other Arab countries concerning the group.

Tunisian security forces have arrested about 100 jihadist and foiled terrorist operations. They uncovered a militant cell in the city of Hammam Ghzaz that was preparing explosives to use in attacks on security buildings. There has been talk that the jihadist group is seeking to expand its terrorist activities into North Africa. The number of Tunisians fighting in Syria has been estimated at about 3,000.

After the ousting of the Gaddafi regime the country pivoted into civil chaos. Because of the deficiency of structure and state autonomy, armed militias have become the dominant force in determining Libya's future governmental system. While the UN has internationally recognized the NTC as the interim government to ultimately turn the country into a democratic one, militias have taken things into their own hands tipping the country towards the brink of civil war. General Khalifa Haftar launched his Operation Dignity campaign accusing congress of allowing terrorists flourish in Libya and vowed to wipe them out, gaining much support from the regular armed forces and nationalist militias. The opposition to Haftar insist that his attacks are aiming for a military coup. This article was helpful in highlighting the armed groups and dividing them by Pro-Haftar and Pro-Congress sections. 

This article gives some insight as to why the group has been banned from participating in parliamentary elections in Egypt. The Brotherhood was deemed a terrorist group partially due to their involvement in violent demonstrations all through out Egypt. Though the brotherhood denied it, the government has enough evidence to deem them terrorist and essentially destroy their power in government.

This article considers the Muslim Brotherhood to be the parent of all terrorist groups including ISIS. Even with the brotherhood denying these claims, news shows that a number of the elements in the brotherhood joined ISIS and Al-Qaeda terrorists camps.

Syrian Rebel groups are skeptical of the truce that is supposed to take place this weekend. They worry that Syrian and Russian government will continue to attack rebels, but under the cover of attacking "terrorist groups" like IS.

The House Judiciary Committee recently passed a resolution calling on the State Department to designate the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization. This resolution resonates with the feverish anti-Islamic politics of the Republican primary, fueled across the spectrum by candidates from Donald Trump to Marco Rubio. Other countries even in the Middle East have officially stated the Brotherhood as a terrorist group. There is much debate on their stance and beliefs and what this should mean to the international community especially in a time of instability in the Middle East.

This article is stating the obvious. ISIS is sending large numbers of terrorists into Libya to disrupt Libya's emerging oil market and hopes to dismantle it's soon to be UN backed unity government.
