Mathmaster.org is a free resource for your school where students can make use of the extensive video library (Khan Academy) and endless supply of printable math worksheets from any computer with access to the web. The video library covers K-12 math, science and other topics. Each video is approximately 10 minutes long and easy to follow. The website gives you the ability to easily customize each worksheet to target your student's specific needs

The Art Project powered by Google features interior tours of seventeen world famous art museums. Select a museum from the list on the homepage and you can virtually tour it using the same interface style you experience in Google Maps Streetview. Inside the museum just double click to zoom to a location. You can also open a floor plan overview and click on a room to navigate to that part of the museum. The best part of the Art Project powered by Google is the option to create your own artwork collection while visiting each museum. As you're touring a museum click on the "+" symbol on any work of art see it in greater detail, to add it to your collection, and to open background information about that work of art. To create a collection you must be signed into your Google account.

A fairly new teacher has come up with a way to help her anxiety-ridden AP Calculus AB students relax more in class. She's using an approach dubbed by her students as the "backwards classroom." The practice can be used with or without computers or other smart devices, and the results have been remarkable: There's evidence that achievement is improving and that the teaching style suits motivated students well.

Scholastic Study Jams is a fantastic collection of over 200 learning resource collections. Study Jams are videos, slide shows, and step by step explanations for science and math that will have your students discovering everything from invertebrates to the water cycle and the rule of divisibility. Each Jam includes a teaching video/step-by-step/slide show, key vocabulary, and a test yourself section where they can practice what they have just learned.

Dropbox is a great Web 2.0 tool for students & teachers. Check out the ideas for using it. I use it as a place to save all of my documents & it syncs & makes accessible files from any computer. Very cool! Free 5GB...

Mission:   A free interactive math textbook on the web. Initially covering high-school geometry. I'm using it with 3rd graders for beginning geometry. I like the interactive aspects of it.
